Vegetarian place at JB City Square - Edit
In my past few trips to JB, I ate at Noodle Face. Delectable dishes although the service is very slow.

Good Service, Good Food - Edit
Brought my non-vegetarian friends here for the food a few times and they like the food very much especially the Fried Abalone Mushroom as it “tasted” like fried chicken skin.
Read moreTheir curry dishes also very nice highly recommended.
Staff here is very good, have recommendations if you are spoiled for choices.

Improvement in taste! - Edit
🇲🇾 [𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐡𝐫𝐮] Re-visited Noodle Face @ JB City Square, since its the only vegetarian and alliums-free option. I was abit hesitant initially, since i don’t have good memories of the food during my last pre-covid visit. This time round, I’m impressed 😄. We ordered fried mushroom burger (rm 18.90) and creamy fried mushroom with rice (rm 15.90). Significant improvement in terms of taste, and the fried mushroom burger was so good. Forgot to take a cross section of the fried mushroom patty, but it was nothing less of juicy! Batter was flavourful and the patty was fried just right, not oily too, which is key.
Read moreWill definitely visit the mount austin branch next time round, as I don’t really like plastic utensils. I like that their main ingredients are mushroom based, healthier compared to those gluten kind. Definitely worth a visit if you don’t have time to visit their cafes.
Pros: Lots of vegan options

Okay. - Edit
Ordered the fried mushrooms bowl. Kinda greasy and it's mostly batter and not the mushrooms. Kinda think they've over fried them.

A quick meatless cuisine @ Johor Bahru City Square... - Edit
Located at Johor Bahru City Square (near JB Sentral), a simple and clean eatery - Noodle Face Express. Great to see this meatless place for my quick lunch. Picked the Value Set Menu - Sizzling Omelette Ramen + Drink (green tea/soymilk) + Side (Tofu Fish Roll) for RM$12.99.
Read moreThe noodle isn't ramen, more like the Instant Indo Mee. The deep-fried abalone mushroom is crispy and nice (a product you can get from Veg*n Grocery shops and deep-fried at home). What I love is the snack - Tofu Fish Roll! Lovely snack.
Fast and friendly service.

Fast food in a mall - Edit
Jak na fast-food, przepyszny. Miła obsługa. Jedzenie imitujące mięso, są opcje z jajkami oznaczone w menu.

Poor service - Edit
The youngsters at this fast/casual dining chain have much to learn in terms of F&B customer service. It was peak hour dinner time and the crowd built up after us (when we sat down, only 3 other tables were occupied). In their attempt to take in all orders as the crowd built up, one of the dishes on our order was left out. The crew went on to serve many others who ordered after us (about 5 or more orders) and the issue was ignored until we asked. It was a 45min wait for a basic noodle order (from order to serving) and this is a long wait for a fast-casual dining outlet.
Read moreWhen we asked several times whether our last dish was ready, they were unable to take the initiative to explain that their cook had mistakenly left out our order and went ahead to prepare the others. We waited so long and were very unhappy because everyone had finished their meal but there was still 1 last order remaining to be served. While they offered not to charge for the bowl of noodles, the tone used was insincere and arrogant. Unless necessary, we will patronise other outlets with the area.

Pretty good noodle options - Edit
We were happy to find this place as a veggie option in JB. Lots of different options and yummy homemade noodles. The portion was gigantic and noodles nice and spicy.

Suggestion from a Earth Lover - Edit
Hi , this is pertaining to Noodleface outlet in JB City square, the owner displayed a poster on the wall saying “to save the planet” and the advertisement was using plate but the cutlery and foods are served using single use items which is contradicting with the saving planet moves , would suggest the owner to use reusable cutlery to thoroughly help with the environment. Keep up the good effort in promoting vegetarian.

Nice soup broth - Edit
We came here on occasions to try the ramen as well as the western food. The western food was average through the fried mushroom snack was well fried. However, the star lies in the soup broth of the ramen dishes. We ordered the Ma La and Sesame Oil ramen and both soups were very fragrant and tasty to eat with the noodles. The Ma La ramen was very spicy though!
