Worth the wait - Edit
We were on our way home through Canada and discovered we would come right in the path of this amazing feast! Time was a crunch so we drove all the way without stopping from Niagara Falls to get here in time and we are so glad we did! The vibe is amazing, the service is amazing, and the food is amazing!!! And that Big Mock…fire!!!I can’t wait to visit again!

Amazing - Edit
We were so happy to find this place this evening. Always love restaurants where we can eat anything on the menu, although, today, that made our choice difficult as everything sounded so good. We ordered a ghost chicken sandwich with fries, a turkey club with poutine, and a Reuben sandwich with voodoo fries. Everything was amazing. The staff were super friendly and we will absolutely be back. Thanks for a great dinner.

Become a breading person - Edit
This place is incredible! I think my favorite thing was the Notzerella Sticks. Specifically - the breading. I have never been a person who cared all that much about breading, but that's only because I had never had this breading before. It's SO GOOD. Perfectly crispy, perfectly seasoned, goes perfectly with the marinara sauce. I can't stop thinking about them. We also got the Caesar Bites, which were unlike anything I've ever had before. I guess the closest thing would be cauliflower wings? But these are way better. Even the best cauliflower wings can sometimes be a bit bland in the very middle, but these Bites are like all crunch and flavor all the time. The lemon slice that came with them seems like such a little thing, but it was the perfect addition. I bet the other flavors of bites are really good, too. I had the tofu tacos and I loved them. My husband got the philly cheese steak and said it was amazing. We don't live in the area, or we'd be in every day. But we can't wait to come back, and will plan our trip based on nooch's hours!

I'm moving to Canada for this - Edit
If you're vegan, you must try this place. If you're not vegan, you must try this place. We added Windsor as a pit stop on our drive from Pittsburgh to Detroit specifically to eat here and it did not disappoint. We arrived right as they opened and were seated immediately. Our server (I think the owner, as well?) gave us the run down on their menu, provided some suggestions, and chatted with us a bit about our hometown as well as Windsor. All of their meats and cheeses are made in-house. The menu has so many great options. We each had a Rose City Beer Works beer, which is brewed below the restaurant. We ordered lunch and some food to go for a late night snack. The Reuben was so much better than a normal Reuben; it had the right amount of peppery flavor, on-point thousand island dressing, and didn't leave me feeling greasy and nasty like real meat would have. I got poutine for my side and holy cow, again, I'm moving to Canada. My boyfriend got the Philly cheese steak, which he thoroughly enjoyed. We were easily convinced on dessert: carrot cake (generous portion, moist, and yummy!) and a chocolate chip cookie. Our to go order consisted of the noochwrap supreme (Taco Bell style), turkey Bacon club, and Caesar salad. These held up well for our late night post-concert snack. The club was very filling and stuffed full of meats and toppings. The salad was better than I expected. The noochwrap was not a huge portion like the other meals, but still very good. The interior decor was really cool and I also appreciated the silly artwork in the bathroom.
Read moreI wish my town had a vegan restaurant as dedicated and with such a great variety of quality options like this one, so I guess I'll just have to make more frequent trips to Canada until I make the move. 😜 Can't wait to go back!
Oh, and I also got a cute zip-up hoodie because I'm a sucker for merchandise.
Pros: Meats and cheeses made in-house, Classic comfort food options and more, Great atmosphere

Killer Ruben and so much more - Edit
In Windsor for a conference and nearly missed coming here. Ruben was everything I wanted it to be - and it’s not easy to create your own seitan meats for the entire menu. Bites, cheesy noodles, Big Mocks - everything was top notch. I worry that rising ingredient costs and the time spent prepping ingredients will be too much for Team Nooch - hope locals and visitors alike continue to support this gem. Now that I know about I would easily cross the border and drive several hours. Not to be missed.

One of my global favorites! - Edit
Incredibly delicious vegan takes on local cuisine and cocktails. In my humble opinion, the Seitan Rueben is better than the region's famous corned beef counterparts. A take on the Coney Dog that I'd say beats Detroit's Lafayette Coney Island offering. Caesars which I think are better than any Clamato version. Even the restrooms are cool.

Good food and good music - Edit
It's comfort food, but not just burgs, fries, and nachos. Great comfort food diversity: Cuban sandwich! Reuben! Gyro! We ended up over ordering on purpose to try a good variety and have leftovers for later (the right choice honestly):
Read more* vitality salad. We got the half portion. Fresh simple salad with a spinach dressing
* poutine fries. The half portion was a really good size. The gravy was really flavorful and the cheese curds took it to the next level
* Angry Mum Burger. Comes with choice of Impossible, Beyond, or Not burger (chose impossible). It's a tough call because everything was great but this was my winner of the night. The spicy ketchup (made by the owner's aunt and uncle!) mixed so well with the mayo and cheese
* Montreal steak noochwrap. Another unreal combination of sauces, with steak tips and nacho cheese
* The Cuban. A very classic Cuban made with shredded seitan
* Carrot cake (for take out). We ate it the next morning. I hate to say the word but it was so ~moist~ not overly sweet, creamy buttercream
Ambiance: rock bar. Love that there's a full bar and they have great music playing. The TV plays music videos (when we stopped in, we got to enjoy a healthy amount of Strokes and Foals 🤘)

Stopped in Windsor Specifically for This! - Edit
We stopped in Windsor on our way to Toronto specifically to eat here and it did not disappoint! Nooch has a hip and friendly environment with a robust selection of food and drink. They make most of their own sauces and their seitan in-house, so naturally we tried the seitan bites for an appetizer. The bites were delicious (we got the sweet BBQ and Cajun) and had a wonderful texture. For a meal, I got one of the specials- the wine-poached pear and turkey sandy. It was a lovely balance between sweet and savory; probably the best and most unique vegan sandwich I’ve ever had! My partner got the tofu tacos, which reminded them of fish tacos with the combination of the crispy fried tofu and refreshing coleslaw. Apart from the food, the owner was incredibly welcoming and personable. He kindly offered us recommendations on things to do, places to check out, and other vegan food stops on our trip. Nooch is an absolute must-try when in Windsor!

Fabulous experience from start to finish. - Edit
Nooch! Oh happy day when I discovered this restaurant and came in for my first meal. My husband and I drove here from metro Detroit after seeing the menu and reading reviews, and it was fabulous from start to finish. Fabulous! Keith the owner was so kind and helpful. Gave us suggestions when we asked and could not have been friendlier. By the end of our meal I wanted to hug him but I didn’t because that would have maybe been weird!
Read moreThe variety of food options is plentiful. Different styles of food, yummy combinations of vegetables and sides that deliver a hearty filling. We had the Big Moc, Ruben, Gyro, a special for the day Burrito, Poutine Fries and Carrot Cake. (Yes I had to tie my hair back and got serious about eating when the food arrived.)
Portions are hefty, ingredients taste fresh, prices are affordable for the quality and size of what you get, store is cute and clean, and staff get the gold for customer service- thank you Anita and Keith! We also met 2 celebrity dogs on the patio from a nearby rescue. What a happy place! It’s clear that Keith has a ton of integrity and takes pride in his work. He seems to pour a lot of his heart and soul into the restaurant and it shines bright in so many ways. We’ll be back again soon!

Great vibes, great food - Edit
I had the best time in here today. I sat at the bar and had great conversation with the owner. There are so many options that sound amazing and it was hard to choose. I ended up eating the small traditional caesar and the small poutine which were both so fantastic that I got food to go. Such a beautiful, intentional atmosphere, delicious food, and great conversation. Many thanks!

Absolutely worth the day trip from Detroit - Edit
I was in Detroit and decided to make a quick drive to Windsor just to have lunch here. The food was phenomenal - I had the poutine, the seitan bites, a kombucha, and the apple crisp cheesecake. I was stuffed but so happy I had gotten to taste it all. The server (who I actually think might have been the owner) was extremely kind, had great recommendations about the menu, and was just a wonderful presence to be around. Border patrol getting back into the US did not like it when I said I drove to Windsor just for lunch so maybe do some shopping in the area too while you're there lest you be selected for random secondary screening LOL

Great Experience for my Canada Day vacation - Edit
I’ve been vegan for a few years and this is first ever all vegan restaurant I’ve been to.
Read moreI loved the incredible amount of options both food and drink and nice they have an impossible burger and tofu as fall-back options for some.
I had the poutine, Rueben and soup. The cheese cube curds were a little too vegan cheese tasting for me, but I liked the cheese sauce on it. Rueben and soup were entirely lovely. Soup did take a long time to cool down enough for me to eat.
Great service as well, and they tried hard to accommodate my rude mother.
It was odd that they only had 2 kinds of salad dressing to offer. Basalmic and blue cheese.
