Completely vegan, completely delicious food and a great vibe, we immediately felt at home.
Read moreMy wife had the Nooch Mac, the best vegan version she’s had and my Korean Mushroom burger was equally delicious. Oregano salted chips are a revelation!
All that before we even got to the plant based crème brûlée! Just wow!
Pros: Completely plant based, No “is it vegan” angst, Friendly vibe

Cute cafe - Edit
Stopped off in Stirling on our way to the Highland area and couldn’t miss out on visiting a fully vegan cafe. Staff were incredibly friendly, couldn’t do enough to help or answer questions about the menu. They had a few specials on, I was tempted by the haggis toastie but went for the butternut squash & lentil soup. It was the perfect balance of salty and sweet, and came with fresh focaccia for dipping. Extensive drinks menu; I went for an almond matcha latte, which was lovely.

Superb! - Edit
We had the Korean burger and the durum kebab. Both meals were delicious! The Korean burger was creative and interesting, but without being too crazy. The durum was as expected, but a healthier (but equally tasty) version.
Read moreWe paired the meal with a chai latte. The most creamy chai I have ever had. Perfect for the start of the autumn.
Just spectacular. Highly recommended for breakfast, lunch, or if you just want to drink coffee with a nice piece of cake in a cozy atmosphere.
Pros: Cozy cafe, Friendly owners and employees

A recovering cheese addicts dream! - Edit
Macaroni cheese was divine, and the haggis croquettes were GORGEOUS! As a former cheese-loving veggie it hit that perfect cheesy spot in my heart. Scottish-made soft drinks were a cherry on top! They even have a couple of little board games available to play if you want to hang out for a while, or to keep you occupied during the wait- not that there really was one, the food was very speedy!

Lovely Cafe Done Right - Edit
We wanted something simple and wholesome, so ordered a haggis and cheese melt with a cup of red pepper & lentil soup. They made these simple things absolutely delicious...got me curious about their more fancy items and cocktails, but it was much too early for that sort of thing.

A lovely wee place! - Edit
I just popped in quickly as I had some time to kill before heading home after a work thing. What a treat to find! I only had a drink and some roasted cashews but will absolutely be coming back for food next time I’m in the area as the menu sounds delicious! The staff were v friendly and welcoming, and the vibe was lovely and relaxed.

Great food - Edit
They were out of some of the dishes on the small menu but there were some interesting choices. We got olives, Korean mushroom burger, potatoes with black pudding, haggis Bon Bons & a creme brulee. The place had a nice vibe, the food was really tasty and different (potatoes probably the favourite). The service a bit haphazard (items forgotten, bit out of order) but there was only one staff member upfront and he was helpful and friendly

A must do in Stirling - Edit
I am still dreaming about the cauliflower tacos I had here, they were so good! Plenty small plates to choose from too so you can try a variety of dishes. If you're a tourist then I'd recommend trying the traditional Scottish dish (made vegan of course) haggis.

Superb casual dining restaurant. 100% vegan. - Edit
Everything about this place is great.
Read moreIt has a lovely casual dining vibe and really friendly helpful staff.
They have a mixture of dishes labelled “smaller” and “larger” plates, and we had two larger, one smaller, and one dessert to share between two of us, which was just the right amount for us.
We had crispy onion bhajis with a vibrant mint chutney (the small plate), which were lovely and fresh tasting.
The Baja cauliflower tacos were so good that I shamefully attempted to persuade my partner that she wouldn’t like them so that I could have the lot! (I have form for this subterfuge and she did not fall for it!).
Possibly the star of the show was the vegan Macaroni with broccoli which was a creamy delight and would certainly pass for a genuine dairy product if you didn’t know it was vegan.
Dessert was a super rich chocolate cheesecake which was just divine.
They have a good selection of craft beers it seems. I had Joker Alcohol Free which was fantastically hoppy.
Would definitely recommend and will definitely go back if I’m in Stirling again.
Finally:
Pro Tip: if in this area for a few days eat here one night and at Friend of Mine in Bridge of Allan on another. You’ll be glad you did on both nights.

The service is always fantastic too, everyone's really friendly and the place has a really lovely atmosphere.
Before Nooch opened, we had tried a lot of vegan restaurants in Glasgow and Edinburgh and we can hands down say Nooch has the best food.

Nooch is a fully vegan restaurant and we were the lucky ones who got to enjoy the Christmas menu. Nine courses, and each course better than the next! A very loving atmosphere in a Christmassy and wonderful city.
We were greeted very friendly and shown to our table. Our service staff did everything to make us feel absolutely comfortable and at home. He always brought us food with a smile on his face and explained what we found on the plate. The veganized dishes such as the haggis, the salmon and, among other things, the scallops were absolutely delicious. With every course a new firework went off. At the end we were allowed to choose warm drinks of our choice.
I even got the opportunity to thank the owner who worked in the kitchen all evening.
My absolute favorite course was the Sticky Toffi Pudding, incredibly soft and juicy and with the typical Christmas flavors. There’s a Christmas spirit coming up!
On our next visit to Stirling we will definitely not miss Nooch and will be pampered there again!
