Vegan gem in Seoul ! 💎 - Edit
If you visit Seoul, you must go to this shop. It is a café and also a grocery shop, and fully vegan ! So cozy, you can even study there. A wide range of different products you can purchase, from books, fabrics, frozen products, sauces, ramens, sweets, chocolates, hygiene products etc... There is also a section with loose goods, with dry fruits, biscuits etc... Vegan heaven !

Hi Laëtitia — "vegan heaven" has to be the nicest thing we've been called 🌱 Thank you for the wonderful review! One update for anyone reading this now: we've moved — Nono Shop has left Itaewon and is now near Seoul Station. Still the same cozy café and grocery with the loose-goods section, still fully vegan. If you're around, we'd love for you to see the new place!

Great store. Boring wrap - Edit
We started out in the cafe downstairs hoping to find a good breakfast option. Unfortunately, the cafe only offers two food options. We both chose the chicken wrap, but were disappointed with the McDonald’s tasting dressing and iceberg salad covering the few small “chicken” pieces. We suggest using a different kind of lettuce like arugula, and a more basic dressing like a regular plant-mayo, or similar. Coffees were very good! The shop upstairs was also very good with lots of variety and interesting products!
Read moreOverall, we recommend the shop upstairs, and the coffee, but not the chicken wrap.

Hi MagnusGreve — thanks for the visit and for the wrap notes! We've only just launched our food menu, so we're still finding our feet. We'll keep the arugula and plant-mayo idea in mind as we work on the menu! So glad the coffees and the upstairs shop worked for you 🌱

Super cool interior and general atmosphere. Sweets are delicious and the supermarket is great if you’re looking for some different options whilst staying in Seoul for some time

Very small - Edit
I was looking for lunch but this basically a coffee shop with a few pastries. The grocery store on the second floor was very small and didn’t have anything ready to eat besides freezer stuff.

Hi, and thank you for taking the time to visit and leave feedback — we're sorry the experience didn't meet your expectations.
Read moreA quick note on our HappyCow listing: we're actually not able to edit our description ourselves, and we were surprised to see it had been updated to mention things like handmade tom yum noodles, which have never been part of our menu. We can only request for some words to be removed or added now... and not submit a full description written by us.
We've also been recategorized from "Bakery / Vegan Store" without our input, while we were planning to recategorize only when we have our small food menu ready.
We've now requested corrections and added an announcement about the fact that we are still in soft opening. We apologize if the listing gave a misleading picture of what to expect on the day.
That said, we're actively working on the food side. Starting this Monday we have been testing vegan wraps, which we'd always intended to offer from day one but couldn't launch right away because of how busy things got after our recent move with more people coming than expected. Our vegan yogurt bowls are on the menu but we had some restock issues and were sometimes sold out — we are working to have them fully available again.
On the grocery side, we'd like to share a fuller picture for anyone reading: Nono is one of the only fully vegan grocery stores in Seoul (alongside Cosmos Groceries), and we carry the widest range of options. Alongside the frozen items, we have vegan sauces, ramyeon, snacks, and a range of pantry goods, and we run a refill / bulk station on the first floor where we also make our own nut butters in-house. We know this caters more to people living in Korea than to travelers stopping in for lunch, and as we only recently moved locations, we're still in the middle of restocking fully.
Keeping a vegan grocery store going in Korea isn't always easy, and every visit genuinely matters to us — especially since some of the bigger Korean vegan brands only want to work with major supermarkets.
We'd love to welcome you back once the wraps are fully on the menu — we think you'd see a different side of the shop.
We hope you have a great time in Korea!

Hello! Thank you for having visited our shop😄. We are still in soft opening after the re launch and it is taking longer than expected to restore all our stock of more than 600 items 😅. We are almost there! Also thanks to the update in location turn over is faster than expected, and we will have to start baking way more than at our previous location! Sorry again for the inconvenience , and we’ll take note that the lemonade wasn’t to your liking for future evaluations of our drinks. We hope you visit again!

Vegan Haven Worth the Trip - Edit
Absolutely worth the trip! This place combines a café, bakery, and grocery store, which was perfect since finding vegan options in South Korea can be tricky. I loved their cheese muffin, tiramisu, and other bakery items and they’re all so tasty. They also have vegan dumplings and kimbap, which I couldn’t get enough of. The café is super cute, and they sell reusable bags and other eco-friendly items, which is such a thoughtful touch. If you’re vegan in Seoul, this is a must-visit.

Best zero waste/vegan store I have been to! I found so many gems and great vegan products. They have a bulk section as well where you can refill products.

Also their hojicha is nice.

Hidden Gem - Edit
Almost hidden on the second floor of an unspectacular looking building, you'll find this little gem of a vegan store in the centre of Itaewon. I came here to have a coffee and some cookies and ended up going out with some nice vegan goods in my backpack. It's cozy to sit and they also have a zero-waste part where you can get everyday articles without plastic.

Sadly, I didn't get to try any of their café food, but I did grab a few packaged treats (premade soups and snacks) to bring back home. It's nice to go into a shop and not worry about what you can and can't eat ☺️

O WOW no waste concept cafe 🍵 🤩 - Edit
It’s tugged away at the corner of an old building, once you walked into, then voila! I like the no waste eco friendly concept with vegan food, cooking ingredients, pet food and cafe all in one! I had an iced coconut matcha latte and a kombucha! So refreshing with the hot weather hit 31 degree Celsius every day in Seoul this year! Will return to try everything!
