Nonna Said - Edit
Loads to choose from - the vegan menu has most of the main menu items on it, but vegan. We got a couple of pizzas and the chilli cheese bites, and fried lasagne. I didn’t think much of the lasagne thing but I really rated the chilli cheese bites. Pizzas are Neapolitan style so very tasty crusts. I would say probably a bit expensive for what you get here, compared to the likes of Paesano etc, but they do deals throughout the week. I’d like to see more veg toppings available, it was quite mock meat heavy in terms of topping choices. I thought the staff were great. Dog and kid friendly too, even if the music was at nightclub levels at first 😄

Cons: On the pricey side , Sub bass to rival the sub club

Quality Late night vegan pizzas - Edit
I was worried the food here would be too greasy based on the menu descriptions, but that was not the case! This was great quality pizza with fresh toppings cooked at high temperatures- leaving the crust perfectly charred and chewy. One of the best late night options in Glasgow

Loads of choice - Edit
An impressive vegan menu with lots of choice including pizzas, hot dogs, fajitas, and loads of sides. Pizzas are reasonably priced at £10.50. 3 so fes/starters for £18. Cocktails £8. Pepperoni loaded hash browns were great!

Good, lots of choice - Edit
So many choices for vegans, I have been a couple times and always enjoyed it. But there is always one aspect of my order I don't like. Once it was the pepperoni, another time it was the battered sausage. Too greasy. Overall it is good and I will go again but it's never 100%
Read moreStaff are a bit funny as well, not overly friendly.
But I gotta say the fried pickles are always perfect!!
Pros: Fried pickles, Lots of choices, clearly labeled

Decent option in the city - Edit
Would definitely go back and potentially up my rating - we got the classic vegan hot dog and the nonner kebab pizza. Fries were okay and hot dog was also okay although didn't feel it was worth £13 - my pizza was fine although wouldn't order again as I didn't find it very flavourful. Definitely want to try some other menu items before making a final judgement on the place as they have some really good looking dishes on social media. Overall it was fine but found it a bit expensive for what it was😄

Would go again but order differently - Edit
Loved the vibe and the staff were great, lot of fun. Got the Philly cheesesteak pizza and salt &chill loaded fries which were both great. And an amazing cocktail menu.
Read moreBut got the lasagna fritta which wasn’t like lasagna at all, veggies in a bechamel totally bland. And the carbonara fritta was worse, total novelty didn’t finish it.

Decent - Edit
They have a separate vegan menu which is really helpful, and has lots of options including pizza, loaded fries, and other pub grub. The food is alright, but only when eaten in the restaurant - have had takeaway from them and it was bad both times.

Disappointing - Edit
I was really excited about Nonna Said based on the huge vegan menu with lots of unusual options but it was quite disappointing. Felt like style over substance to be honest, everything looked great but was just quite bland. The lasagne bites didn't even slightly resemble lasagne. The carbonara bites weren't much better and the main flavour was just from the giant dollop of mayonnaise on top. The happy highlander pizza was probably the best thing I tried but there's definitely better pizza elsewhere.

Bland - Edit
The vegan menu is huge. I tired four different dishes and didn’t love any of them. It was all fine but all a bit bland. The pizza I tried did have a really nice sauce on it so I can imagine other pizzas are nice. What I tried seemed all looks and little taste.

Great to see a full vegan menu added. Pizza and toppings were both tasty. Now to just remove the old menu and it’ll be perfect😜

Great pizzas, put a smile on my face! - Edit
Separate vegan menu with a vegan option for everything on the menu. The vegan cheese on the pizzas is great. On a Tuesday they have an offer of 2 pizzas and a bottle of wine for £30, great value.

Best vegan pizza I’ve had - Edit
I had the pepperoni pizza. Was worried as it didn’t have many toppings but it did not need them! The pepperoni was really peppery and tasty and the tomato sauce was so good, nice and garlicky. I wanted to give this review 5 stars but happy cow won’t let me because of their rules!

Chilled out place - Edit
I went to Nonna Said with a couple of Omni friends. There is a full vegan menu that mirrors the main menu - every single option can be veganised! No more missing out! I chose the lasagne pizza with 'nonna rings' and it was honestly the best vegan pizza I've ever had. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend!

Tasty af - Edit
Really tasty pizzas which we thought was great for the low price after student discount. Shame about the no option for “gluten free” base but they do offer a “low containing gluten” base… the toppings all do contain wheat/barley so steer clear if you’re GF.

Some of the best pizza in glasgow. - Edit
And i do t say that lightly! Base of the pizzas were amazingly chewy but not too much. Creative toppings like philly cheese steak and smiley faces. The sides we got were a bit disappointing in my opinion. The lasagne bites were interesting to order but in reality just tasted like deep fried batter. But that shouldnt prevent a visit! The pizzas are the start of the show here so check it out!

Expensive and poor quality but tasty - Edit
I got the 3 dishes for £17 and was full after 2, but not huge portions. Very disappointed by the "spicy" haggis fries as they weren't spicy at all - it was just melted cheese and crumbly vegan bacon. The carbonara fritters were amazing but you only get 3 and they're not that big.

Good food - Edit
Nonna said is a great little place to go for cocktails and a chilled atmosphere. They offer vegetarian/vegan friendly options from both the pizzas and the sides. I opted for the Blackened garlic and chargrilled pepper pizza with a side of the fried pickles. Both were good and would recommend to anyone going for a nice little bite to eat and some cocktails 😊 They also run deals online through “it is on” so always worth checking before heading there to get a good deal!

Highly recommend - Edit
They've recently veganised their regular menu and offer lots of vegan pizzas and sides. The server also told me that all of their drinks are vegan, including their wines. They only offer ice cream as dessert, but it was delicious and they had 4 flavours available. It was really creamy. Staff were friendly, and it wasn't too long a wait for food. I'd just add the staff seemed a bit rushed off their feet so might have to wait a few minutes to get their attention.
