Delicious selection

This was exactly what I wanted for a quick affordable lunch. Delicious selection of buffet dishes (they also do a la carte).

Just good local food.

Cheap vegan authentic dishes

This place is a hole in the wall that serves authentic vegan Thai food for 30-40bhat per dish. Definitely go here for a wholesome experience away from the touristy spots in old town.

Authentic Place

I much prefer this one to Dharma Kitchen next door. It is more authentic. It's busier and they have much more food. They don't have an English menu though so be prepared to point to what you want (there are a few pre-cooked dishes) or you need to speak Thai with the owner. I didn't see anything that wasn't vegan, but I wouldn't like to confirm this for sure.

Nongna, Chiang Mai

Named Nongna at time of writing, as others have said this is one of three all vego places side by side opposite Chiang Mai University faculty of Pharmacy.

I had a deliciously dressed salad with own tons and a couple of other dim sum type nibbles (my apols that I don't know what that would be called in Thai. Bargain priced. Of the three this places is the only one that seems non 100 % vegan. There is certainly a big sign on the way in advertising Carnation milk

Pros: Tasty food, Vegan friendly, Inexpensive

Cons: Not 100 % vegan

Great Thai veggie place

Like all of the other Thai veggie places, this restaurant is good and cheap with friendly service.

I especially liked the noodle soup and the spring rolls.

BEST of the three

Of the three veg restaurants next to each other, this one is the best. It is pure vegan (one isnt), the food is cooked fresh(not buffet style), the owner is the nicest/speaks the best english, they have the most varied menu(including fresh papaya salad-the others dont) and drinks, also the oldest one.

Very easy to locate across from the lavender pharmacy CMU building on suthep road just down from Wot Suan Dok. The veg restaurant next door has an english sign out front.

Pros: Vegan, Delicious, Menu(in thai)ask owner
