Good not Great

The prices are high for what you get. I got the vegan “eggs Benedict”. It had a just egg omelette and some king’s bacon on it. Instead of hollandaise sauce, they give you pesto mayo on the side. It all tasted good, but did not have much thought or effort put into it. The server also did not know what the egg was made of when I asked. Had I known it was a just egg patty, I would have ordered something else. Maybe if they clearly stated what you are getting in the vegan version of the menu items, I would not have been disappointed.

Pros: Atmosphere

Cons: Frozen, processed food

Pretty good food, friendly service

Food is definitely catering to those with dietary restrictions, so there are tons of gf options. I think the food was honestly pretty tasty. It’s a little bit pricey, but I would still go again

Vegan option in St. Catharines and Niagara-on-the-Lake

On a recent trip to Ontario, I tried this new restaurant at both their locations. First was in St. Catharines where I went for breakfast. I had the Vegan Breakfast Sammy/Bowl at $17. It was good/hot but I found it quite simple with very little creativity. (Beyond sausage patties, JUST Egg toasted patty, a few pieces of tomatoes served on a bed of hash browns-I think the frozen kind, and topped with a pesto sauce.
Second visit was at their much smaller location in Niagara-on-the-Lake. This time, I had the Vegan Melt Sandwich at $17. It was loaded with sautéed vegetables and with a slice of melted cheese, accompanied by a pickle. It was very good but I found it quite small for the price especially that it came with no side of salad or fries.

Pros: Many vegan options , Very friendly owner , Local entrepreneur

Cons: Pricey for what you get (but I am a bit cheap)
