Serves meat, vegan options available. Popular Roti shop in Mirissa. Has plenty of vegan options including vegetable rice and curry, deviled vegetables, string hoppers and dhal. Feb 2019 reported that the roti contain egg. Very basic but tasty and inexpensive food. Has a very local vibe. Open Mon-Sun 8:30am-10:00pm.

Overcrowded - Edit
Rotis are good, because they are filled with more ingredients, but you can find them in other Roti Shops also for less money. They place is way too overcrowded and loud

Their main focus is roti which unfortunately they make with egg. But the other food is good and the place is nice with friendly staff.

It’s fine, but there are better places in Mirissa - Edit
The roti here is not vegan, the staff informed us they contain egg.
Read moreThere are only really 3 things you can order here. Veggie rice, veggie noodles, veggie curry. We went for the curry and it was ok, nothing particularly mind blowing.

Nice! - Edit
I had the fried vege rice and the taste was really nice, a bit dry though. Service was great, very friendly people. As said before in the reviews the roti contained egg. My bf who is not vegan loved the roti!

Vegan curry and rice - Edit
This place was recommended to us, we were advised you can order ahead as things are made fresh but we only waited 30 mins for the rice and curry. Tasty curries, large portion, not the best we have tried in Sri Lanka. Some of the dishes were a bit cold. We also ordered Roti and this was huge, hot and very good.

Great food and lovely staff - Edit
The food was amazing here! We actually bought our own tofu and asked them to fry it in with the devilled vegetables (as we’ve been lacking protein) and it was delicious! Very kind of them to do it as well. The owner is also lovely and very friendly.

Very friendly staff and local vibe, but not sure if the food was vegan or vegetarian. I had a coconut roti and a vegetable kottu, which both were delicious

Best Rotti and Kottu in Sri Lanka - Edit
This place by far had the best kottu and rotti that I had in Sri Lanka. It is the first time that I ever had either one and it set a high bar for the rest of my trip. I had the egg kottu and banana chocolate pineapple rotti. Please go here! It was the best!

Egg in all Rotis - Edit
Like mentioned before there’s egg in all Rotis so the only vegan option is Fried Rice which was tasty nonetheless! There was a cooking class going on while we sat there which was nice to listen to. Little disappointed they didn’t have any more vegan options for Rotis and Kottu!.

Ok, small portions - Edit
Cheap but small portions. Was pretty busy and didn’t seem like there was enough staff for the crowd so didn’t order any more and left still feeling hungry. Had the kottu and roti which was very tasty though

Local family business serving good food - Edit
We would have loved to have tried the vegetable curry dinner but didn’t call to reserve in advance. We ordered vegetable kottu roti, deviled vegetables, avocado cheese tomato roti, and curd with honey. All solid. Deviled vegetables were probably the favorite for everyone. Nice staff.

Roti realness - Edit
Amazing value and delicious special of the day with an avocado, cheese and tomato roti. The owner came out to check everything was alright and you can really tell this is a family run business. Note that you have to pre-order Rice and Curry by calling but if you do show up out of the blue the rotis are incredible.

Outstanding - Edit
I wish I could give this wonderful place a full five stars! The vegetable kottu was so tasty and filling, and only Rs250. Definitely read the story on the menu to get an idea of how much love and care goes into this place. Can't wait to come back again.

Cheap and good - Edit
We went here after preordering a vegetable curry and rice set menu. It was super cheap for a restaurant of this caliber at around 400-450 rupees. It’s always busy, but always seats available too. Rotis and Kuttos are 200 rupees and under. The menu contains the story of the restaurant which is also a great read.

best rice and curry! - Edit
Call in advance (try to call in the morning of the day you want to go) for the rice and curry, otherwise you can only get roti! It’s worth it, the rice and curry is absolutely delicious.
