Great vegan option

Really great to find a burger here. We were here August 2025, vegan burger was listed on the menu above the counter. I really liked it (I had it without bread), it was good to have some real and warm food on the trail. Burger was served with a good amount of smashed avocado and pickled cucumber. We accidentally ended up on a tougher trail than we planned and I was so happy I had had a proper meal and not just snack food.

There was also vegan ice cream, and oatly for coffee as a standard option (coffee is self serve with a carton of oatly next to it).

Current opening hours: June and September: 10AM-5PM, July and August: 10AM-7PM

Vegan friendly

Didn't expect to find a restaurant here and hadn't checked Happy Cow... So we went here after our hike when we'd already had our packed lunch. Too bad, because they had a vegan lentil soup and a burger that I would have loved to try. They also had raw balls and Valsoia ice cream, so we had that at least. The raw balls were yummy (I hesitate to buy raw balls as I often don't like them much, but these were the good kind!), the ice cream ok - actually a bit icy and tasteless, but at least they had the Valsoia option. We made sure to tell them we appreciate the vegan options being there, and apparently the owner is vegan!
