Vegan-friendly if you let them know in advance

Was meeting family for dinner, as this is their favorite spot in town, and I initially balked at the meat-heavy menu. However, relative contacted restaurant and chef said he would make me something special. Chef chatted with me at the table to be sure I didn’t have additional restrictions/allergies/dislikes and was very friendly and thorough. I left the creation of the meal up to him and kitchen did not disappoint! Delicious veggie rolls presented beautifully and a very yummy vegetable and rice dish. Would definitely call ahead and dine there again. They also have some inventive and yummy cocktails.
