Flavor on Point - Edit
Highly recommend the tacos here! 6-7 soy options including asada, fajitas, picadillo. Located in a food truck park with 2 other options (another taco truck and a Mediterranean place). Right around the corner from community vegan too

The Best Vegan Mexican Food - Edit
I ordered the vegan birria tacos and the flautas. I was most excited for the birria tacos because I’ve never tried those before and had seen them all over social media. They were delicious and my friends who aren’t vegan really enjoyed these tacos. They said they tasted authentic. The flautas ended up being my favorite though. They’re covered in avocado and crema but still remained crispy. They also come with a side of refried beans and rice.

Some of the best Mexican I've ever had! - Edit
I was blown away by how good this food was! Everything was full of flavor, the meats were amazing in texture and spice, the flautas weren't oily with an incredibly tasty filling, and even the refried beans were great. Really great service too. Probably one of my favorite food experiences during my week in Austin!

Delicious, consistent Tex-Mex - Edit
This spot is the absolute best for vegan Tex-Mex in Austin. I've tried most of the taco protein options, the Birria tacos and the Chalupa and all are super tasty. My favorite fillings are the cheek'n and the fajitas. Enjoy!

Fantastic all-vegan Mexican food truck - Edit
We absolutely loved the fare at this all-vegan food truck. You can make your own taco plate, which consists of four corn tortilla tacos with six protein filling choices, plus rice and beans! They also have nachos, burritos, chalupas, tostadas and more. It's in a pleasant all-vegan food truck park. Highly recommend!

The best meal I have had since going vegan. - Edit
This was my first stop after landing in Austin and my last stop on the way out. My second time back I ordered almost the entire menu! Every bite was life-changing. Lol I know that sounds dramatic, but the title of my review says it all. My (non-vegan) father is Latino, a long-time chef, and owns multiple restaurants. Needless to say, he knows good Mexican food. I wish you could have seen his face after the first bite! He was so impressed he had to go talk to the chef. And talked about Nissi the rest of my 6 day trip🤣 EAT HERE. The carne asada tacos and nachos alone are worth a flight haha

Lettuce!!!!! - Edit
There is something undeniably perfect about how good food can taste if you have lettuce and tomato in or on it. A lot of food trucks or restaurants ditch it on their sandwiches and burritos but it seriously changes the entire flavor profile. I appreciate that Nissi knows that.

Al Pastor to die for... - Edit
This is the best food I had in Austin.
Read moreUnrelated to the food: amidst the cloudy, rainy weather, I found myself struggling to collect solar to charge my Sprinter Van/RV home battery, and they allowed me to hook up to their power source while I ate. This kind of staff generosity is definitely notable.
Get the Taco plate, order the Al pastor. Try all 3 salsas.
They were out of the Hempchata, but I have no doubt they’ll still be around when I make it back to Austin.
Pros: Staff generosity off the charts, 6+ types of vegan protein for tacos, Flavorful

Tacos worth the drive! - Edit
Just tried the birria tacos special last night and omg! I’ve never tried that style before but so many folks rave about and seen some pretty amazing videos that made me have to head there and try it. Sooooo glad I did. Totally worth the drive. Last time I visited I tried some regular menu items and they were delicious as well. There’s a reason why every hypes their food up!

Delicious healthy food and very realistic fake meats. - Edit
I love it here! Great location with parking. A good amount of options and most are gluten free. The food tastes like the real thing and isn't greasy or feels unhealthy. Really good queso! My only critique is portion sizes are small for the price, but it isn't a big deal. Pair with a drink and it's a good meal. Staff is also friendly! Great people.

Very tasty Mexican food - Edit
This is located in a beautiful little food truck community. It’s my first time in Austin and that was very neat! We ordered the burrito plate and Flauta plate and they were both very good. It was also fairly priced.

Rustic Food Garden - Edit
Nissi is in a food truck garden that could easily be an anarchist squat in Berlin. The food was so delicious! I absolutely loved it. I love to eat in this kind of setting. It’s very informal, and kind of reminds me of someone’s dilapidated back yard. This might turn some people off. I don’t mean it to. I think it’s great. Let your hair down. Not every dining experience needs to be the ultra-refined thing we come to expect in the US.

SUCH great tacos!! - Edit
I loved everything about this place!! It was a cooler-than-normal night for a Austin and there was a warm fire going in the common seating area (this is part of a kind of food truck food court) and Sergio, the staff member working, was wonderful!! He recommended that I get the Taco Plate since it was my first time visiting, and it was an excellent suggestion!! There was tons of flavor in the tacos. He added some spice when I mentioned that I like things to have a kick.
