Everything But The Kitchen Sink

This interpretation of ramen just wasn’t one that I could fully appreciate. The waitress was equally pleasant and annoying (asked us 4-5x if we were ready to order while we were still holding/reading menu). The restaurant was pleasing but there are no cushions to sit on, just hard chairs and benches. If you have back problems bring a cushion with you. I was pretty stoked to try a new ramen place but sliced tomato, braised cabbage and corn in ramen? Really bizarre combination that didn’t land right. I did love the fresh noodles, hot green tea and the tofu was soft but held its shape well. Often times tofu in ramen is too soft it breaks into tiny pieces but this didn’t. For the price, they need to be more generous with their protein. This place captured my curiosity but Rakken Ramen in Coppell has my loyalty. I do not recommend nor will I go back.

Pros: Tofu, fresh noodles and , green tea

Cons: Broth was greasy, cabbage, corn and tomato don’t belong in ramen, expensive

Had the vegan Tofu Curry Ramin. Will have it again!

Food

Food was great though the ramen was a bit too heavy for me. Service was really good as well. They have a whole vegan section which is nice.
