A vegetarian restaurant offers mostly falafel, hummus, salads, mezza (small dish), and soups, many of which are vegan and others that could possibly be made vegan upon request. Try the spicy green chili sauce. As of May 2019, has one other location (in NYC). Reported closed October 2024.

Amazing Vegan Shawarma - Edit
The Vegan Shawarma here is amazing and huge! This is a cool, relaxed spot in a busy area of New York. We sat overlooking the pavement, and people watched as we ate. Highly recommended and would love to go back.

Good falafel sandwich - Edit
Many vegan options, just a few items contain dairy. The sandwiches are very good, and come with tahini, hot sauce, and pickles. For the price it a good lunch spot in Fidi.

Delicious! And the tabletops are made of chickpeas!! - Edit
Clean, spacious seating area in a very congested part of town! Bathrooms do not require a key. Lots of vegan options. Made fresh to order.

Shawarma is out of this world - Edit
Absolutely delicious! Was so happy to find this place as we found it a bit tricky to find decent vegan options near one world trade centre but this place was worth the walk - also the lemonade was sooooo good, tasted so refreshing

Yummy vegan shawarma!! - Edit
I've ordered lunch from here twice now while at the office and so glad to have such a place with such solid vegan options. The falafel is yummy and the Impossible shawarma is a fun treat. I definitely recommend if you're looking for lunch in FiDi!

Delicious falafel - Edit
I had the deluxe sandwich which combines three different types of falafels in one giant sandwich. The portion was very big.

Ok but could easily be great - Edit
I ordered the Vegan Shawarma and the pitta was leaking oil to the point my tray was full with a 1/2 inch of oil. The shawarma was a good size but tasted mostly of oil. Could of been avoided if the shawarma pieces were drained before serving

Filling & flavorful - Edit
I’ve been here a few times now & I haven’t yet tried a dish that I haven’t loved. It’s my go-to when I’m in fidi and feeling HUNGRY. the macros are great for satiety. There’s whole wheat pita, creamy tahini sauce, great proportions of protein from the falafel and hummus. Great lemony and spicy flavors. Fresh herbs. Just the right amount of veggie imo. It’s so great I love it!!

So Close... - Edit
I want to give them a 4.5, but that’s not an option. It wasn’t good enough for a 5.0, so I must grudgingly give them a 4.0. The hummus is very good and there is a lot of it, the tabouli is good, the baklava was very good, and the staff was nice. It just didn’t get to the “Wow!” that’s needed for a 5.0.

We would go there all the time for lunch because it’s right up the street from the office. So many great vegan choices it’s crazy! And even the pastries, brownies and cookies they have are phenomenal! Everything tastes so good!

Mediterranean fix - Edit
Love their salads and teas with mint leaves. I am a lover of Mediterranean food so this always hits the spot. Didn’t give it 5 stars Bc they always seem a lil rude to me. Been in there several times. But food is good.

Great food, helpful staff - Edit
I wouldn’t say there’s much of a difference between this place or Taim, except better price on delivery and better understanding of what’s vegan. Very helpful staff and discount the first time you order directly from them online.

Lots of Vegan Options - Edit
There is a lot to choose from here, but my absolute favorite thing is the side of roasted beets. The falafel is also excellent. The hummus was creamy but really had so much oil I couldn’t eat very much of it. Vanilla Halvah was also good.

Great falafel - Edit
Entire restaurant is vegetarian and vegan items are clearly marked. They are also willing to modify (e.g. falafel trio has cabbage with mayo, they are willing to remove that and fill a little more on the other sides to make it vegan). Food tastes great and is fresh. Pricier than a falafel cart, but tastes higher quality.
