Yummy toastie

Small cafe tucked away beside train line. I had a mushroom cheese toastie which was yummy. Served with a pickle and popcorn which is a nice touch. Only sad thing is quite limited opening hours. Check before you go.

WOW!!

I had the beetroot brownie and Gianni’s BLAT. Both were absolutely phenomenal. The brownie was one of the best I have had of all time, and loved that it had beetroot in it! The BLAT was unbelievably fresh and packed full of flavour. I’m making it a personal mission to try all the yummy subs!

Excellent cafe - fabulous cakes

We went for a morning tea and cake today. The cafe had a very welcoming vibe and the staff were excellent. It is a lovely space. We had the best pot of Earl Grey tea of any cafe we have tried in Melbourne and we particularly loved the orange blossom cake and the cookie. Had we not now been full, we would tried more items. Based on the high quality of the morning tea, we will definitely go back for a lunch, as the lunch menu looked very enticing.

Pros: Excellent food, Cosy cafe, Easy to get to - right by the station.

Cons: Nothing

Filling breakfast

We decided to go here to try some of the breakfast items. Although it is winter, it was a sunny morning so we sat outside. I ordered a soy flat white and my partner ordered an oat hot chocolate. My coffee was nice and was served with a piece of chocolate cookie yum!
I ordered the avocado toast which normally comes with feta but they advised they didn’t have any feta. I ordered it with grilled tomatoes and it was also served with popcorn! It was good to have a good sized piece of toast with it. It was nice.

My partner had the waffles which were really nice. He really enjoyed the hot chocolate too.

It was quiet but a few people popped in for take away.

I got a chocolate chip cookie for take away. I really enjoyed the flavour and texture.

Couldn't have been better

Fantastic ham, cheese and tomato croissant, delicious coffee. Lovely staff and immaculate vibes. Location was really nice too, in a calm little alley next to the train station.

Comfortable friendly place with great Vegan food

Great atmosphere, and while the menu is small it has some unbelievably good options. My wife and I loved everything we tried. If we lived closer we’d come more often, but whenever we come to Brighton we will need to come here!

Wonderful people and delicious food!

My partner and I went to Ninna’s for the first time last week and we are still talking about what a fantastic time we had! The staff were so lovely and attentive, they made sure we were enjoying everything and created such a nice atmosphere. We had two of the best vegan sandwiches I’ve had in a long time and tried an array of the vegan treats, which were all so delightful! I’m so excited to visit again, planning on becoming a regular customer😄:)😄

Pros: Super yummy food, Kind and generous staff, Sunny spot and cosy vibe

Delicious food and warm, welcoming staff. Spanakopita was light & crisp, lentil curry pie was excellent too. Side salad was freshly cut! Coffee was great as were the doughnuts (only available Sundays). A wonderful find and we'll be back.

Super cute spot

Nice vegan spot just off the main rd. I had a soy chai and the halloumi sandwich. The chai was delicious and the sandwich had great fillings however the halloumi wasn’t my favourite part. Popcorn as a side was a nice change to crisp/chips.
They don’t have any high chairs yet which made eating a bit tricky so it would be great for them to have at least one and maybe a couple more menu items.
Staff are super friendly and I would go back for that alone!

Good home-style food and friendly, community feel

We stopped here on the way back from the southeast. It’s a cute place just by the station and was pretty quiet when we were there, although a few obviously regular customers stopped in and there was quite a sense of community going on. The cafe smelt of spicy chai (from baking I think). For lunch we ordered the Tofu Butter Chicken special and the halooumi (as opposed to halloumi) sandwich. The tofu was nice enough, kind of simple, with a home-cooked feel to it. The sandwich was good, with some of the best halloumi I’ve tasted, although I’m not sure if it was the product or the preparation that made it this way. Staff were super friendly and chatty. We bought a couple of baked goods on the way out and I look forward to coming back when we’re passing through next time.

Grazie Ninna

Friendly service, delicious food and a great location. The food is simple, delicious and beautifully served. Ninna and her daughter have struck a perfect balance between serving old favourites (jaffles!) and coming up with creative specials (tofu butter ‘chicken’). Fresh leaf teas and tasty home made deserts. All at a very affordable price. I’m most definitely going back.

Pros: Delicious, Affordable , Friendly

Cons: None

Great food cooked with love

This family cafe right next to the train station is extraordinary. Mainly based on sandwiches, the chef produces taste sensation after taste sensation. The chickpea tuna is a taste of the future where over-processed food will have less of a place, replaced by inventive culinary re-alchemy. The homemade deserts like the white chocolate Rockyroad are serious taste bombs. You’ve just got to go there.

Pros: All vegan with great tastes, Warm hospitality, More than reasonable prices

Cons: Zilch
