Lovely tasting western vietnamese. - Edit
I have been here a couple of times. They have fun lemonades (one that changes color?!). I ordered the vegetarian ban xeo and it was great. Another time I ordered the fake meat banh mi and that was disappointing, as it was dry and had no herbs (no mint, coriander) and no sauce. It was literally bread and fake meat.

Vegan wordt steeds minder - Edit
Wij waren heel blij met Ninh Binh in Hilversum, en vonden de gerechten van de uitgebreide vegan kaart heerlijk! Het laatste half jaar merken we echter dat de aandacht voor vegan minder wordt. Ze hebben geen fysieke vegan kaart meer, je moet maar een qr code scannen, en er zijn aanzienlijk minder opties. De opties die er nog zijn, zijn minder lekker en verfijnd. Grote stukken tofu op een stokje, en ook in de stoofpot zaten weer enorme stukken tofu. Niet iets waar je een vleeseter mee kunt verleiden om eens een plantaardige keuze te maken. Wij zijn de laatste 2x best wel teleurgesteld, en zullen dan ook niet zo snel weer gaan. Jammer!

Ontzettend lekkere vegan opties. Bijna elk gerecht op de kaart kon worden ‘geveganized’. De pho met tofu en paddenstoelen is echt een aanrader. En een echte Vietnamese koffie met gecondenseerde kokosmelk maakte het helemaal af!

Bijna alles op de kaart kan vegan genaakt worden. Ik heb het eerst drie keer nagevraagd omdat ik het bijna niet geloofde! Veel seitan. De poeties zijn over het algemeen wat klein, maar erg smaakvol. Ook erg vrolijk personeel!

Went here for lunch and found out that most vegetarian dishes could also be changed to vegan versions.
Read moreThe vegan bao bun (steamed bun with tofu and some vegetables) tastes good. Also the banh xeo, a pancake filled with tofu, mushrooms and bean sprouts was very nice. The nem ran were crispy but the filling was a bit boring. I will certainly return here to taste the other dishes.
