I Four1Eight Exceedingly Well - Edit
Decreeing to myself that I warranted a Sunday of opulence (and determined to guarantee it), I made this my destination of choice. No sooner had I descended the stairs into the suave, spacious dining room, warmly greeted by the gracious staff, than I knew my mission had already been a success.

A particularly refreshing feature of the spread was the prominence of Levantine cuisine. So often relegated to a token appearance (usually just foul) here it was proudly centre stage. What’s more, it wasn’t simply a matter of quantity over quality either. These were standout dishes: zingy tabbouleh, nutty dango, fiery batata harra, and the exceptional bamieh bel zeit, all deserving of high acclaim.
Keeping my gaze eastward, I shifted to the flavours of Thailand and its neighbours. It was here I found the two stars of my morning: a lively, fragrant green curry and a luxurious, ever-so-moreish coconut rice. Granted, not typical breakfast fare, but their unexpected presence was nothing short of inspired.
So giddy was I with all these unique offerings that I momentarily overlooked the fact there were hash browns for the taking. This was as you might expect a considerably egregious oversight, as they were, predictably, phenomenal.
This may sit higher up the expense scale than some other city options, but the standard on offer makes it outstanding value for money. Worth every single fil, and then some.
