It is absolutely delicious, the problem is that we order without knowing because of course they don’t have a menu in English so feel free to order anything from the menu. Is all delicious.

Great local vegan food!! - Edit
I had the soup dumplings (I think, I misunderstood the menu and tried to order 3 main meals, she tried to explain it to me but I don‘t speak Mandarin, so she choose for me from the 3 options) and they were delicious!! The dumplings are incredible, it came in a flavourfull soup with some fake beef and vegetables. The portion was really big!

I am super grateful that I found this place on happy cow! the wontons were delicious and sesame noodles also very food! - the food was incredibly cheap and delicious. Unfortunately it looked really not clean (the tables were dirty and cutleries sticky). staff did not communicate in English I had to use translator to ensure it is vegan

Little veg place with some tables on the side of the road. We ordered rice and curry which came out immediately. Large portion of thick curry with vegetables, tofu and some mock meat. We also got some blanched leaves on the side. Highly recommended quick and simple local grub.

Read moreWe tried Curry Rice, a rice roll (double check for mayo?), tofu and sesame noodles. The noodles are soo good, keep finding them around Taipei now and these were my first! The place is very local, so we sat on chairs on the street. Due to being on the street, give your utensils a rinse & clean before using them. Would you back to this place though😄especially with a vegan waffle place round the corner!

Very small place, inly a couple of tables outdoors. A couple runs the shop, they gave us the menu and a pen to write down what we wanted. No English spoken, but communication was so minimal it’s not even needed.

I had the seaweed rice, a nice tasty piece of tofu (at only 15 TWD a real recommendation) and the Taiwanese roll. Really enjoyed the taste of all these dishes. Sum for these dishes was only 110 TWD.

Blink and you’ll miss the awesome little cart… took me a min of walking back and forth to find it. But I’m so glad I did bc it was delicious, authentic local food and that is always what I want when traveling! The roll was awesome!

Great Place for Vegan Local Food - Edit
I was happy to find a fully vegan restaurant that is locally owned. The food is made fresh on the spot and the menu is extensive. I enjoyed the fried tofu, vegetarian fish steak, and the braised rice dish. All the dishes were very affordable. There is limited seating though. The menu isn’t available in English, but you can use Google Translate to translate the Mandarin characters. It also helps to know some Mandarin😄
