With so many options in the area i would not recomend this place. Food was not throughfully prepared and we could not find any particual charm.

average - Edit
I got the gnocchi in tomato sauce and it was nice but the vegan chicken satay wasn’t very nice the texture of the soy meat they use was weird and they gave me a sore stomach. My partner got ramen and he said it tasted like 2 minute noodles. I think this place is great if you’re on a low budget but i didn’t really enjoy the food. Sounds like others below have though .

We have been here few times and always enjoyed our meal. I really like the nasi campur and vegan fried chicken.

Nice staff, good Korean food~ - Edit
Simple, but enjoyable food; friendly and kind staff. They didn't speak much English but they smiled a lot and were kind! Ate here twice during my trip, even though it was a bit far from my hotel. Especially liked the kimchi pancake! The water spinach was nice too~ The food here is kind of fusion-y (not super authentic, but if you are looking for super authentic vegan Korean food then probably Bali is not the place to go looking for it lol!), but very delicious! I'm always happy to find vegan kimchi. ^_^ They serve other international cuisine too, but I only tried the Korean stuff (well, and the water spinach too) because it was pretty much the only place in Ubud serving vegan Korean food!

One of the tastiest in Ubud - Edit
We were very pleased with our meal at Nine Heaven Vegan Warung, and would've returned if we'd had more time. The mains, juices, and desserts were all very satisfying, and service was friendly.

run out of nearly everything - Edit
When we ordered (around 6.30pm in an almost empty restaurant) they had run out of nearly everything, including tofu! So almost every dish on the menu that included tofu was unavailable 😕. No desserts were available either, other than ice cream ❌🍰

Korean food! Nice break from other cuisines - Edit
A bit pricey given the portion sizes and other vegan/vegetarian restaurants close to it, but it offers fairly unique dishes that aren’t available elsewhere in Ubud. Skip the soybean soup (really not worth the price since it’s a simple miso soup), but the cakes are great (they may not have all the flavours listed on the menu though). The fried “chicken” is a bit dry and there could be some more effort in presentation, but it’s otherwise pretty good.

Best vegan food in Thailand and Bali! - Edit
I have no idea why South Asia can not replicate an authentic tomato pasta sauce (it’s always been so sweet wherever we have gone) but this place hits the nail on the head!!! OUT OF THIS WORLD!! The ravioli is amazing and I assume their other pasta dishes are too. The ramen is also superb and the kimichi fried rice is a must try. I love this restaurant and wish I could take them with me for the rest of my travels and probably back home too.

Great food! The best tempeh I’ve had. - Edit
I really enjoyed my food here, very tasty and I think the price was crazy reasonable. You can pick from a whole heap of different things here depending on what you fancy my only issue with this is that it just felt like it was a bit confused in terms of maybe trying to do too much, but it does mean you can go there for lots of different options! The only other thing was that I thought the service on my visit was a little slow and that I had to keep getting up to find the waitress at some points!

Love the kimchi pancakes; cosy place to relax - Edit
Ordered the hot chocolate which weirdly came in a glass and wasn’t really sweet neither „milky“, I guess it was just made with water instead of some plantbased milk - give it a pass! But I actually only go there for their amazing kimchi pancakes anyway. So amazing to find vegan kimchi! Order it with rice otherwise the taste might be a bit too strong.

Traditional Asian food veganized - Edit
It's a great cafe offering a number of traditional Asian foods veganized. We tried 'chicken' satay in peanut sauce (which was very delicious!!), kimchi (not so good) and tofu soup (which was okay).

nice, relaxed warung for a more local feel - Edit
The food is great (if you don't come in 40 mins before they close, then everything is a bit hurried) and really inexpensive compared to other vegan places in Ubud. We went back to Nine Heaven twice in one day because we liked it so much. Try the Nasi Campur, it is the best we had in Bali! As well as the Gado Gado and raw cakes for desert

Best Tempeh experience - Edit
Nine Heaven is a very nice vegan restaurant outside the crowded main tourist road. The food is extremly delicious and the staff very friendly. We went there because it seemed to be a more local spot compared to the LA style vegan restaurants.

Nice place - Edit
The place is nice with relaxing atmosphere and very friendly staff. The portions are not big but cheap so you can order few meals to be full. We visited this place few times cos it was 100 meters from our home-stay but meals are very uneven - some of them delicious some of them blunt or too oily.

First thing I'll say is that this place really knows hot to cook Tempe! The best Tempe I've ever had and I normally don't like it!!!

Nice restaurant with typical indonesian food, Korean food like kimchi and western stuff like sandwiches, pasta and burger. All vegan. I was there twice , first time I had Nasi Campur, the second time vegan chicken bites, kimchi and sweet potatoes. Very good and the waiter always smiles. Nice place

a bit disappointed - Edit
I had high expetations due ro the good ratings. The menu also looked great. It's a nice and cozy place. The idea of a 'vegan Warung' is great. The thing is the whole concept doesn't seem to work out yet. First time we ordered apple-cinammom pancakes (ok) and tofu porridge (was just plain rice in water). Second time I ordered a greek salad. On the menu: green leaves, carrots, avocados and tahin sauce. I got a tiny portion with 3 little cubes of avo and no salt, no sauce, nothing.

fantastic - Edit
We had breakfast and lunch here and both were delicious. For breakfast we had apple and cinnamon pancakes and the fresh juice, so great to get vegan pancakes! I ordered coffee with cashew milk, and I saw them get a big bag of cashews from the fridge and then I was served a freshly made glass of creamy cashew cream. I put this on my coffee and on the pancakes! For lunch I had the Korean kimchi dishes - yum! Also has a spa . Must visit

Fantastic Vegan food, fun unique options! - Edit
I really loved the Korean vegan options here. I tried the Kimchi soup (great with lots of Kimchi inside), the Tofu soup (my favorite), the Ramen Soup (very delicious and also spicy) and the Kimchi Pancake (which is amazing!!). So I really liked all the food... the owner and staff were also very friendly and fun to talk to.

Excellent Warung ! - Edit
This restaurant is very similar to a Warung (local restaurant). Prices are cheap, food is local, but all is vegan so you can make your choice in all the menu, which is really pleasant !
