Excellent Egyptian Restaurant at College and Clinton

Excellent lunch at Nile River

This restaurant serves meat but has many excellently prepared vegetarian/vegan dishes. The portions are very generous. Prices are very affordable. My friend and I had 2 appetizers and split a falafel dinner. We both took home enough in takeaway containers for next day’s lunch. We ended the meal with beautiful Egyptian coffees and baklava.

Owners are super friendly and clearly committed to quality and providing an excellent dining experience.

This is a perfect restaurant for friends who have mixed dietary needs - they serve meat, fish and vegan dishes.

Pros: Great quality, Generous portions, Affordable prices.

Cons: Styrofoam takeaway containers. Bring your own!
