Simple but tasty - Edit
The Lithuanian vegetarian menu seems to have a lot of options. I asked for an English menu and under vegetarian there were fewer options which included just soy steak. I went to ask what's vegan. The lady taking the order wasn't very talkative and didn't go out of her way to present me with options. She said they can remove milk from the mushroom sauce over the soy steak and the dish will be vegan. I took it and I was positively surprised. I was worried that their soy steak would be dry and it was super juicy and moist. The dish was simple but very tasty.

Bad start, amazing ending - Edit
I came to this cafe on my way from Klaipėda to Vilnius (note that there are 2 cafes with the same name on each side of the highway). The start was quite disappointing - the waitress while knowledgable about what "vegan" is, seemed quite reluctant while discussing possible options (later though I've realized it's just her personality, so if you are able to bypass this, you'll have a much better start than I did). To some questions, like "is there egg in buckwheat cutlets" she simply answered "I don't know", but to others, she did go to the kitchen to consult. She processed some info vocally, making me not look forward to my meal at all. I thought it would be bland, dry, and ultimately unsatisfying (all based on the conversation with her). However, I was in for surprise - the meal was absolutely delicious, she seemed genuinely happy that I liked my meal, and while chatting about plant milk options (which on this Klaipėda-Vilnius side cafe there is non), she said that we could actually GO TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY TO THE OTHER NIKOLA. We glanced at each other with my mom smiling, as we thought she was joking. BUT NO! There is actually a simple hidden little road from this side of the highway to the other (you can walk or go by car), and you really can have it all - as the other Nikola has the raw menu, as well as plant milk for coffee. It's the main cafe with more options, and a nicer interior and exterior (pond, benches, little garden).
