Lots of vegan options, but my dishes weren’t that good - Edit
The restaurant is located near the railway station and has a nice kind of garden to sit in.

However it seemed that I made the wrong choice. The summer rolls were okay (missed to take a picture) but nothing fancy. I didn’t like my main dish, Bun Sa Ot. (Caramelized tofu and Seitan, with rice noodles and salad). For some reason the seitan was missing and the vegetables didn’t have a very good quality. I did not like how it was spiced.
It waiting time was also quite long. Staff was friendly.

Impressive selection and tasty! - Edit
Asian fusion restaurant close to Bamberg central station. The place proudly advertises its vegan options, and they certainly don't disappoint. The menu is packed from vegan soups, salads, sushi as well as noodle and rice dishes. Calling it a Japanese restaurant is misleading tho; the restaurant additionally offers dishes from Chinese and primarily Vietnamese cuisine. The food itself was very tasty. I was particularly impressed that all desserts were vegan. Definitely recommend!

Really good and authentic Japanese food - Edit
I was there and ate some udon noodles, summer rolls and the banana sticky rice. And it was absolutely amazing. Everything was clearly labeled and also the entrance sign says vegan food available. All in all a really nice experience. I will go there more often.

An extra card for all the vegan options on the menu. But in between the meat options there are also vegan versions so look at the complete card not just at the vegan extra pages. Especially if you come for the sushi.

Perfekt für Veganer und Leute die neue Dinge testen wollen - Edit
Ich wollte das NIKKO schon seit der Eröffnung testen, bin aber erst jetzt dazu gekommen. Ich habe bereits in jedem Asiatischen Restaurant in Bamberg gegessen und als Veganer ist es natürlich schwer etwas gutes und leckeres zu finden mit einer großen Auswahl. Mein persönlicher Favorit war bisher immer das Cocoon.

Wir waren zu zweit Essen und hatten als vorspeise die Veganen Hähnchenspieße mit Erdnusssoße bei denen mit die Kinnlade runtergefallen ist, so verblüffend echt haben die geschmeckt. Und ich hatte noch das Bao Bun mit Kimchi und Tofu was für einfach extrem lecker war.
Als Hauptgericht musste ich unbedingt die vegane Ente in Erdnusssoße probieren und wurde auch dort wieder nicht enttäuscht.
Die Gewürze und die Zubereitung sind so beängstigend nah an einer echten Ente. Dazu gab es noch eine Schale Reis.
Beim Sushi haben wir eine kleine Auswahl an Vegetarischem genommen und waren auch beim Sushi wieder extrem begeistert.
Der Service war unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend.
Preislich betrachtet haben wir zu zweit etwa 70 Euro bezahlt, was für die Qualität und Vielfalt der Gerichte absolut angemessen ist. Eine rundum fantastische Erfahrung für jeden, der großartiges veganes Essen in einem asiatischen Ambiente genießen möchte!" #Veganuary
