Nido…more like Need Dough - Edit
Once you get past the $14 bottle of water, the rest of the experience is pleasant. Beautiful setting, attentive service and creative vegan options. We had the Veggie Gyoza, spring rolls and veggie maki roll which had seaweed infused pearls on top. Need to ask for dedicated vegan menu.

Full Vegan Menu, Excellent Food & Service - Edit
BEAUTIFUL restaurant. The pics here don't do this place justice, one of the most over the top venues for a meal of my life. Happy Cow requires I not give this place a 5 star because they do serve meat, but this place has a full vegan menu and great staff that went above and beyond. The spring rolls and gyoza were amazing. The drinks were excellent. You'll have to order most of the menu to walk away full but we felt like it was totally worth it. It's still a pretty reasonable higher end sushi menu in terms of price if you're traveling from the US or EU.

Pretty setting, light fare, expensive - Edit
Absolutely stunning to look at. This place is fabulously expensive. The food is good but not filling. It really is an a la carte tasting menu. All the food was quite good but I left hungry and out a fair amount of money.

High end, beautiful resort/restaurant, few options - Edit
This restaurant is within a high end resort and is outside but covered by this beautiful “nest” shelter made of wood. It is architecturally stunning. It is quite pricey. We ordered the avocado sashimi, a couple bottles of Saki, vegetable tempura, and the warm mushroom salad (our fav and a MUST have) All were good but fairly small servings for the price, but you are paying for the experience for sure. I think he said they used to have more vegan options but have recently changed the menu. We made it work and the service was very good.

Our server, Jared, was so welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is located in a very unique structure, and Jared spent time with us discussing the architectural details. He was completely attentive and understanding of our dietary restrictions and went out of his way to ensure that we were happy with the food. He even checked with the kitchen to confirm that one of the desserts was vegan and subbed out the part that wasn't.
The food itself was exceptional. The watermelon nigiri and avocado nigiri were so tasty that we ended up ordering a second order of each. We also had tacos, edamame tempura, and churros for dessert, all of which were incredible.
Vegan options in San Jose del Cabo can be limited, but this restaurant does a fantastic job providing a vegan menu. I'd highly recommend for a serene and delicious experience.

Separate vegan menu, several artfully prepared options. Staff are conscious of allergies and restrictions. Small bites (nigiri) and shareables. Upscale dining experience with extensive cocktail/wine list available as well. I had the avocado nigiri, watermelon nigiri, and heirloom tomato salad with tofu cream. Absolutely delicious!
