Nice ambiance! - Edit
You can't tell it's a vegan restaurant, so you can bring a few carnist friends and they won't even know until they're told. The food's been hit or miss considering the prices you're paying per dish.

Came out starving - Edit
I'd been trying to get a reservation there for ages but it was always booked, so I expected really outstanding food. I came out of there starving... The squash tortellini I ordered were exactly 5 small tortellinis with a thin sauce and they didn't even taste incredible. I dread to think what the $28 lasagna I was tempted by would have been. My friend had the chicken sandwich which was cheaper and about triple the quantity of food. I'll give it to them that the desert was very good and plentiful but $25 for five tortellinis is a joke.. I had to have a second dinner when I came home.
Read moreComparing it to a place like Pura Vita which has generous quantities and very good quality food, I'd recommend you go there instead.
Pros: Good service, Good dessert
Cons: I go to restaurants to eat a meal not a sample, Overpriced

Pretty restaurant - Edit
Very pretty outside seating in the back yard! I like that mood but I really don’t recommend crispy rice.

Great Food. Amazing Space - Edit
Great plant food options, real food not junk food. Fine dining with a casual atmosphere. Best patio in LA! So glad it’s in the neighborhood! Open for Brunch/Lunch and Dinner. Service started out a bit rocky but smoothed out over the evening. Expected from a brand new restaurant. I hope they use that amazing Wood Burning Oven more! Standout Dishes: Avocado Crispy Rice. Summer Corn Agnolotti. Chocolate Lava Cake!

Overall, not very good - Edit
This is my second time at Nic’s. The food was disappointing the first time. Unfortunately, it’s still disappointing. I had the burger and fries. The burger wasn’t tasty and the fries were oily. Service was slow and the room was very, very noisy. I don’t think I’ll be back.

This place is amazing for brunch or for dinner. They have a small menu and is a bit pricey but there is care and detail put into every dish. It is so yummy there I have no complaints!

Creative Dishes Nice Space - Edit
Saw this on HappyCow and gave it a try. Was here a few days ago. Here's my Nic's on Beverly review. The restaurant is well-designed with bar, dining, and a lovely tree covered courtyard. Menu items are creative, and flavors are generally good, though a bit rich for my taste (lots of flavor, salt, and some frying).
Read moreMy favorite was the gratin fries - very unique and delicious (recommended). The pan pizza is tasty - you get a big tray slathered with marinara. The avo crispy rice is interesting but odd. Tacos were delicious but rich (involves frying). Goyza was just though salty due to being doused in sauce. NOTE: If you want to have less sodium, ask them to put sauces and dressings on the side.

Delicious & great outdoor ambience - Edit
We went for lunch and it was really delicious. Best thing on the menu we had was the pizza - the bread was just to die for! We also had the fried tomato sandwich and smoked tofu bowl - both highly recommend depending on what you are in the mood for. I am dying to go back for breakfast sometime!

Delicious - Edit
What a lovely discovery! The dishes we had were amazing. It’s nice to find another upscale, “date night” vegan restaurant that impressed us so greatly. We especially loved the tomato peach salad - but everything was delicious.

Too fatty and salty - Edit
Went just after it opened in June. My companion had a hard time knowing what was gluten free, which wasn’t a good start. The maitake mushrooms were delicious. Had the yuba and it was way too heavy with the cheesy sauce. It’s all about balancing salty and fatty with sour and our items just didn’t. It’s early days, hopefully they will sort it out.

Pretty good - Edit
The restaurant is clean, has nice decoration, the staff is lovely and the food was good. I ordered the scallion biscuits, which were a tiny bit salty for my taste, but they were still delicious. My companion ordered the smoked tofu bowl which looked pretty tasty and she said she enjoyed it.

Good food, service could have been better - Edit
We tried this restaurant for the first time and found the food great, but we found that getting our bill at the end of the meal took forever. We sat in the patio, which was delightful. We shared the avocado tacos, my husband had the falafel burger and I had the pierogis. The cocktail list was extensive as was the wine lists. This restaurant was a good find.

Yum - Edit
I can only describe it as a 1960’s safari tiki cocktail bar with superb #vegan dining under a Giving Tree. The Plant Based egg in the Bwa Loy Kai Wan mezcal drink is worth the price of admission. Make reservations at Nic’s On Beverly in WeHo by Nic Adler of Montys Good Burger.
