An old standby - Edit
Nick's opened in the late '90s with help from a western cook. Long-since run by local Tibetans, they're still doing a pretty good job. It's reasonably vegan-friendly, too; just make sure your server understands your dietary needs. When the weather is nice, the back terrace is lovely.

I'm not sure how authentic some of their Italian food is, but it's delicious and filling. The service is great, as well.
I also went for breakfast, and the breakfast plates are HUGE. Very filling.
Pros: No meat, Huge portions, Friendly service
