Average Food, Okay Service - Edit
So far, Nhan Duyen has been one of the less-bad of an extremely average bunch in Hoi An. Pleasant and attentive, the woman who runs this small eatery has a separate (but very limited) 'English' menu, from which Westerners will be charged 25-35 K per dish. The phở here, which was easily the best I've had in Hoi An (i.e. it was edible), was almost completely devoid of veggies, and contained only one piece of tofu and one thin slice of mock meat. The owner was accommodating, however, and brought some more greens and lime (which wasn't offered) when requested.

Pros: one of the 'least bad' of an average bunch
Cons: don't seem to offer the usual accompaniments, too few veggies, not enough protein, not very good value for money

simple and generous! - Edit
My partner and I came here for lunch as it was the closest to our accomodation and it was so good! We got the pho, spring rolls and the "vermicelli mix" which was a noodle salad. The pho was simple but yummy and the noodle salad was fresh and the seasoning was good. They gave us 8 spring rolls which was amazing and they were fab. The lady who owns the place came out when we were finished and had a chat to us, she was so sweet! Would recommend for sure! Cheap, tasty and super generous :)
Pros: price, portions
Cons: none

Best food I've had in Vietnam! - Edit
The best kind of restaurant is one that surprises you when you start eating the food, especially when you're not expecting much. And Nhan Duyen is one of those places!
I had the spring rolls and Pho, and wow such flavour!! The spring rolls were unlike anything I've tasted before, and the Pho was packed with flavour.
The staff are smiley and super friendly, and speak English well. The lady who cooked my food was really grateful when I told her how amazing the food is.
100% recommended to all vegans and vegetarians. You will not be disappointed!
I will be back soon.

Great find, off the beaten path! - Edit
I didn't see any reviews, so thought I'd check it out, and I'm glad I did! It was pretty busy when I ate there (on the full moon), but no other foreigners. They have a menu in Vietnamese and English (I'll post a photo), but they seemed to only have 4 dishes available at the time--and they were written on a small white board, plus 4 or 5 appetizers. I had the Pho and a banh goi appetizer, which were both delicious. I had a big appetite, and the servings were small-ish, so I actually got a second main, which was also good.
The food is simple, but very authentic, fresh, and tasty. Looks like they have some other interesting appetizers that you normally don't find vegan versions of, like banh bao. So I'll probably go back and try more things! The staff were friendly and helpful, and spoke some English. I ended up paying 60k for the two mains and one appetizer. Not sure if that was a set price or a foreigner price, but it seemed reasonable for the amount of food I ate.
It's outside of the main tourist area just a bit, but definitely worth it!
OH! And the map marker is not accurate! It's a couple "blocks" east of the marker. The address is right though, so just look for "69 Hung Vuong" on the south side of the street, it's pretty easy to find.

EDIT: just looked it up, and the second main I ate was "Cao lầu," which is apparently a special noodle dish made only in Hoi An!! Read about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cao_l%E1%BA%A7u
