Nha Hang Yen's Restaurant

Even after I showed them my Vegan info card (in native Vietnamese) and they verbally acknowledged their understanding, my dish arrived with (a lot of) eggs. I chose one that did not have eggs listed or pictured on the menu. Luckily, we had two other dishes that checked out and were really great. The curry was one of the best I've had. The place gets busy, though, so either make a reservation or plan to wait in the "lounge" for a little while and buy some drinks.

Slightly out of the main tourist area in Nha Trang, we found this restaurant which had a lot of veg/vegan options, which was very hard to find. Though prices were a bit steep, there were several vegetable dishes which were significantly less expensive than the rest of the menu. The service was amazingly excellent, even for western standards, and the food came out super quickly despite the restaurant being packed. The waiter even helped the table next to us cook their food in their hotpot. Our vegetable and tofu dishes were super tasty. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience at a reasonable (for a tourist restaurant) price. Much better veg food and options than most touristy restaurants.
