Doesn't exist anymore - Edit
I tried to go there April 22. It doesn't exist anymore. Lady from my homestay recommended Ladybird restaurant for vegetarian options.

Decent menu - Edit
The menu choice is good. If I’m honest the food wasn’t 5 star but helping a virtually vegan restaurant in an almost barren place to eat. The owner is very friendly and wants to chat with her limited English. If you’re vegan in Sapa this place is one of a very limited choice. Eat there and support a local.

Quiet place, down the stairs - Edit
Online hours say opens at 8 but we arrived a little after 9 and it was still closed. Came back around 3 and it was open. The food tasted fine- not the best, not the worst. Some items were tasty. I’d say it’s a good place for vegetarians, but a little more questionable for vegans. We thought communication was clear (via google translate) that we did not want egg in the food and the items picked would not have egg but we are fairly certain 2 of the items we ordered did have egg. Luckily my husband still eats egg.

Too greasy! - Edit
Really disappointed. We had the banh mi which was way too greasy. The bread was yellow because of it and the sauce was too much, it dripped out of it. Vegan sausage was weird taste and there were no herbs as is normal on a banh mi chay. Sapa so far has been a food hell, where other parts of Vietnam are sooo nice!
Read morePros: For Sapa cheaper than elsewhere (25k banh mi)
Cons: Too greasy, No herbs, Too much sauce

Nothing special - Edit
Food is just 3 stars - it was greasy and not much vegetables inside. It tasted ok, but it wasn’t special at all. We had fried noodles with vegetables and spring rolls. We also bought two banh mi for take away which were also oily but with a nice, delicious sausage inside.
Read moreIt was very pricey and the owner was very nice. We paid for every dish 50k Dong (2€) and for the Bahn mi 25k.
So in total 4 stars :)

Friendly place, good food - Edit
Ate here every day while we were in Sapa. Unfortunately there’s still a giant construction site next door (Oct 2019) so it can be very noisy, but the restaurant was easy enough to find using Google Maps.
Read moreThe lady owner/chef is really sweet and cooks up the meals super quickly. Everything we tried was pretty good, it’s definitely not refined food but more home style cooking. The pho didn’t have the usual rich spices you would expect, it was more of a simple broth like from instant stock powder. But it had loads of veggies, tofu and veggie sausage, so still tasty.
The food seems to be cooked with lots of oil, almost every dish ended up with a pool of fluorescent yellow oil on the plate when we’d finished eating. BUT portions are large, it’s good value and surely the best budget vegan option in town.
Pros: the loveliest owner, big portions, okay prices (50-60k for mains)
Cons: noisy construction zone, food is quite greasy

Incredible food, lovely owner - butter or margarine? - Edit
Amazing little restaurant - came here two nights in a row and ordered the rice, tomato tofu, and mixed vegetables to share between two people. (With two soft drinks it came to 180k.) Really wanted to try the banh mi but I think that's only available for breakfast or lunch. The owner speaks very little English but she's absolutely hilarious, and my partner and I got along great with her - the funniest lady we've met in Vietnam. Prices are so cheap too - would've come here for breakfast if I could.
Read moreSomething to note - I was facing the kitchen on the second night and it looked like she was using butter to cook all the food. I've looked up what I think was the yellow tub and I now think that it's an oil-based margarine (vegan) by Meizan, but if someone else could verify that would be great!
Pros: Cheap prices, Amazing food, Lovely owner

We'll definitely be coming back during our stay here in Sa Pa. The dishes we had (tofu in tomato sauce, morning glory, green rolls, rice) were generous and delicious. The lady cooking and serving the meals was very nice and the prices are definitely below the local average for (vegan) food.

Vegan heaven in Sapa - Edit
Lovely lady (doesn't speak much of English) and lots of vegan food in this vegetarian restaurant. We went there many times as we loved the tofu sausage and we tried the traditional hotpot, great experience. The mock meat there was the best food I've tried in Vietnam. Just unbelievable. Lovely spring rolls and phó too.
