The best buffet in Hanoi!

We happened across this place by accident a few minutes before they opened for dinner. We don't speak Vietnamese so didn't understand when the staff tried to explain that it is a dinner buffet. As the minutes passed, the place quickly filled with local families. Around 6:15, the staff came by to gesture that it was our turn to go to the buffet.

The food was beautiful! All hardly processed, local food, almost all made from vegetables, including delicious dipping sauces. The only thing I spotted that I suspect wasn't vegan was a mayonnaise-appearing salad.

I made some rookie mistakes by filling my plate with large amounts of the first batch of dishes that were put out. They kept replenishing the buffet and adding additional items so I was too full to enjoy them!

This place is very worth a trip to Tây Hồ.

Other details: I think there was air conditioning, but since we went during a heat wave, it was very hot inside, they provided many fans which helped. There is also a serene outdoor patio in the front. I believe they are cash only. We used Google translate to ask questions in English and translate them to Vietnamese which really helped.

Hours are 11-2 and 6-9 as of 2024-05-04.
