Vegetarian buffet in a bright space with pleasing decor. Owner has created a welcoming atmosphere. Menu changes daily, but always has plenty of vegan options. (Possibly 100% vegan. Please verify & send HappyCow an update.) Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-2:30pm, 5:30pm-9:00pm.

‘Soy Vegetarian’ on Google Maps - Edit
Google showed "SoyV Vegetarian Buffet Restaurant 90k - Soy Vegetarian," but HappyCow had a different name, and it took me quite a while to find it. They used tongs for all the dishes containing milk, eggs, and even vegetarian dishes! I specifically requested to avoid the dairy and egg dishes, but I saw other people making mistakes while using tongs. Anyway, I could have had a better experience if I hadn't encountered these problems. The food was okay. Hygiene is more important than food quality just my preference.

Vegan buffet - Edit

Avoid if vegan - Edit
Serving utensils are shared between vegan and non-vegan items. I tried to point this out to the English speaking staff member. She was unable to comprehend the concept that once a vegan item has been cross-contaminated with food cells from a non-vegan dish, that cross-contaminated item is no longer vegan.
Read moreA great reminder of the pitfalls for people on vegan diets eating at buffets that include non-vegan food.
I would rate this venue 1 or even zero stars if HappyCow allowed.

Great food, great service and cheap - Edit
90k for an all you can eat buffet, less for kids (they charged 60k for my five year old, not knowing he can eat his own body weight in noodles). Really friendly and helpful staff.
Read moreI think the menu changes day to day, but all vegan with the exception of three sauces on a separate plate that had dairy in - one of the ladies working there explained what everything was and specifically checked if we were vegan or not. Drinks and desert (fruit and coconut milk boba) in one room, mains in another - when we went you could make your own Thai style soup, plus rice, veggies, a couple of salads, five or six main courses and some fried things. With the exception of one mystery sauce ('we cook this one for locals, tourists don't normally like it" - she was right) everything was delicious. Highly recommended.

delicious and affordable - Edit
Been here twice. 90.000 dong for a buffet which is in essence infinite source of vegan meals (only 4 sauces sitting on a distinct tray weren't vegan), vegan desserts and drinks. All of these dishes being one of the best that i ate in Vietnam.

Delicious food, good price - Edit
We ate at the buffet. The selection isn't huge, but it's more than enough. All the dishes are very tasty! We particularly liked the tofu and seitan dishes and the fact that you can put together your own noodle soup. There are also drinks, fruit and something sweet for dessert. We paid 80,000 dong per person and rolled out of the restaurant feeling stuffed. Highly recommended!

Amazing food - Edit
I found this place through HappyCow, and boy, was I glad! They offer an amazing buffet spread with a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. There were also a couple of drinks such as a blueberry drink offered as part of the menu. The waitresses were really sweet. Although they couldn't speak English, using a translator app helped. Dishes are frequently replaced and there is a large variety of dishes. Will definitely be back!

🌱 A Vibrant Vegan Feast in the Heart of Hanoi! 🌱 - Edit
I discovered Nhà Chay SoyV through the HappyCow app and decided to try their dinner buffet during my stay in Hanoi. It turned out to be a fantastic choice for plant-based food lovers!
Read moreThe restaurant has a vibrant and cozy atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a relaxed meal. The buffet spread was extensive, offering everything from fresh spring rolls, a variety of salads, seasonal and exotic fruits, steamed rice, flavorful curries, and deliciously cooked vegetables. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of authentic flavors.
The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring a great dining experience. However, they should work on making more of the dishes listed on the menu available, as some items were unavailable during my visit.
Overall, Nhà Chay SoyV is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience a diverse and satisfying vegan feast in Hanoi!
P.S. I edited my review after 1 year as it’s overall impressive one and I didn’t even forget about it.

Amazing food for a low price and super lovely staff - Edit
I absolutely loved this place. It’s a vegetarian/vegan all you can eat buffet with delicious food for 80,000 VND. I went there multiple times because of how great it was. The first time I had trouble paying by card and the staff was very sweet and said I could come back the day after to pay. I would recommend to bring cash if you want to eat here.

80k Dong for some of the most delightful food I’ve had in Vietnam. Best vegetarian phở I’ve ever had. Truly an exquisite array of local ingredients from tofu to sweet potatoes to goji berries, long an, jujube, tofu, bok Choy, prepared in a very tasty way. Sat out on the balcony and people watched while I ate… really lovely
