Got food poisoning - Edit
Staff was not really friendly, but okay. Unfortunately the 2 of us got food poisoning a few hours later. We had the rice with mushrooms, fries and the scrambled Tofu (only meal we both ate from) and some bottle water and Beer.

If you are jewish, they do not let you light the fire - Edit
I would have given 1 star, but the app does not let me.

Delicious cheap vegan food - Edit
The food was delicious. We ordered the tofu in ginger and peanut sauce and my OH ordered Baby bok choi with mushroom. We also ordered the passion fruit cheesecake to share. We had a Hà Nội beer each and the total meal including drinks cost less than £8. They take cards & contactless for a 2% fee. We had to ask for the fan above our table to be turned on - but it promptly was when we asked.

100% vegan, every dishes was delicious. Chickpea curry, tofu ginger and coconut, fresh spring rolls, morning glory, green juice, mango and banana smoothie, delicious coffee and cake. Wow 👌 such friendly people. A little haven.

Huge servings - Edit
Morning glory with garlic was soooo good. Fresh spring rolls were different (not my fav but not bad, had pineapple and avo in them!).
Read moreWent back a second time and got the hotpot. SO MUCH FUN. They bring out a little hotpot stove and lots of things to put in, and a nice broth. Cheesecake not exactly tasting like a classic cheesecake, but tasty nonetheless.

Fantastic peanut ginger tofu, lackluster curry - Edit
Ate here a couple times and was definitely more impressed the first time when I ordered the peanut ginger tofu. Those were seriously fantastic if you like peanut sauces at all, so I definitely recommend them. Second time around I tried the coconut chickpeas curry and wasn’t a huge fan. A little too sweet perhaps.

Peanut tofu amazing - Edit
I wasn’t huge on the rice, but the peanut tofu made up for it. Only needed a little salt.

good but not great - Edit
i can't compare it to the best vegan restaurants i've been to at all, but it is an ok option for the place.
Read morefor example, the hot pot is a really cool experience and the broth is really tasty. too many mushrooms and too little tofu though. mango sticky rice was good.
then, the pho was really bland and i didn't like it at all. the pancake was also really bad. the bread with hummus as well, the taste is just too different from what it should be.

Really loved this restaurant, came here 4 times during my trip to Ninh Binh! The menu has lots of variety, from smoothie bowls and toasts, to delicious Vietnamese food. I tried the choc smoothie bowl, the coconut chickpea curry, as well as the fresh spring rolls. All delicious 😊🌿

Great Spot - Edit
We loved the food a lot especially the morning glory and the Tofu dishes and Mango sticky rice, the cheese cake sadly was not my favourite even though it Looks amazing. It’s a big expensive Computer to other Vietnamese Restaurants.

Not that great - Edit
I really wished I could've given this vegan restaurant more stars, but it really wasn't that great.
Read moreThe tempeh was very dry and tasted bland (was it even marinated, I'm wondering?). The accompanied brown rice was sticky. I really don't like sticky rice with my main dish (I can tolerate it when it's mango sticky rice) and would have liked ordinary white rice better.
Service was friendly.

Amazing food!! - Edit
We have eaten here several times and it was always delicious! The chickpea tempeh is also very good. We enjoyed the braised tofu with mushroom and the tempeh with a ginger peanut sauce. Also nice that they serve brown rice as standard instead of white rice. The falafel salad tasted good there too. If you are in Tam Coc, eat here!

Mediocre and bland - Edit
We ordered the protein salad Bowl, Tempeh with peanut souce, Springrolls, cheesecake and Mango sticky rice. The Springrolls were fine but the rest tasted kind of bland. It’s great, that such a place exists but I wouldn’t eat here again when there are other options.

Go to vegan spot in Tam Coc! - Edit
We’ve practically have tried everything on this menu. The food is of high quality. The staff are great and speak fluent English. It’s quiet during the day but make sure you call or message their WhatsApp if you want a table for dinner as they get pretty packed at night. [We learnt our lesson.] This was also our go to spot for vegan versions of the Vietnamese coffee each morning. They use soy milk/oat milk which tastes great. The overnight oats are a great takeaway option if you’ve got somewhere you’re on the run. The only downside is that they open later than a regular cafe (at 10 AM). It’s also a bit setback from the street so not super obvious to find initially but once you’ve found it once, should be no issues. Google maps should take you directly there also. We also were travelling with a baby, which the girl serving us loved and had fun with which was nice.
