I definitely recommend this place. I ordered using Postmates. I got the Signature Burger. The burger came with cheese on it, which I was skeptical about because I don’t use or eat mock cheeses. I chose American and it was great. The burger was delicious. The quinoa patty had a really light flavor and the mayo did as well. I also got a Cookies ‘N Cream soy shake. It was tasty. It didn’t have the cookies ‘n cream flavor I was expecting, but I think it’s just because they don’t use actual Oreos.

Everything I’ve ever gotten here is absolutely delicious. The burgers, the salads, the sandwiches and the shakes are all amazing. There are so many options, and the portions are pretty large. The staff is also very kind and helpful.

Love this place for a quick(ish) bite when I’m in the neighborhood. The milkshakes are amazing! I’ve only tried the BLTA and the regular cheeseburger, but enjoyed both😄

Food okay, but staff needs an improvement - Edit
I really wanted to like this place. I was so excited when it opened, since it's only three subway stops from my apartment. The first couple of times that I ate here, everything was great... staff was nice and food tasted awesome. Unfortunately, NLB Brooklyn has gone down hill big time over the past year.
Read moreOver the summer I went there shortly before closing and my burger tasted like freezer burn... like it had been sitting in the freezer way too long and wasn't reheated well. They also messed up my french fry order and forgot my shake. No apology from staff, just an "oops." About a month ago, I figured I would give them another try -- bad idea. The woman who waited on me was a complete witch, snapping at all the customers, she just had the worst attitude. And again, they messed up my french fry order and I had to ask for my shake because she forgot it. Again, no apology.
It's sad because each time I go to Whole Foods (located in the same building) I see fewer and fewer people at this place. It did taste great in the beginning, and honestly, I wouldn't much care if they got my order wrong if they were at least nice about correcting it. But most of the staff just seem to have a negative attitude, so it doesn't make me want to return.

All vegan, all delicious! - Edit
From the menu I didn't realize it was all vegan (they describe one of the patties as "meaty") but it is! I raised an eyebrow when the cashier told me they couldn't disclose which brands of vegan cheese they used (i'm not a Daiya fan, so always ask), but someone else asked. They use Daiya and Chao. I gobbled down my burger so fast. It was amazing! But i'm sure not healthy. My son didn't finish his grilled cheese so I ate that too. Quite crispy and buttery bread! Best part is that it is inside Whole365 so get your grocery shopping done too. Juice Press right next to it, and a microwave, open seating plus a tv so bring your gang!

Such an affordable yet savory supply of menus. The burgers were awesome, but I really loved the vegan milkshakes! I crave for cookies and cream all the time and was guilty for getting the ordinary milk shakes. Well this place just solved my problem! A must-have when there's a NLB around.

I like trying new foods and this burger place is in a great area. The burger was mediocre nothing to get excited about, chili cheese fries were good, and side of kale was flavorless (no seasoning). The staff were very nice but I wouldn’t go out of my way to ever eat there again. If I go back I will definitely try a milkshake!

Really enjoyed my food and shake from the Next Level Burger. It really is an amazing burger stop. The staff are friendly and the area was very clean. It also has a free iced water station where you can fill up on some hydration. Would recommend to anyone

Great place where to stop for a quick snack or a full meal. Good choice of burgers, sandwiches and beverages. Polite staff and quick service. For 2 burgers, 2 small oven baked fries and 2 flavoured waters we paid around 35$.

Its located within The Whole Foods, conveniently near an entrance. Not a huge area to sit, but their is more seating just outside the restraunt. I had the black bean burger, and baked fries, which were both excellent. They also had beer on tap, which was just what I needed, as I was tired from walking around and thirsty. As for the staff, they were all friendly and helpful. Will definitely re- visit this place next time I'm back in Brooklyn!

My wife and I needed to grab a quick dinner in downtown Brooklyn. We jumped in line at Next Level hoping there would be some vegan options. As we read the menu, we began to realize that it's all plant based! We asked at the counter to confirm.
Read moreWe had the Classic and All American burgers. I got mine with the Quinoa patty and my wife got the Beyond Meat patty. Both were well crafted and tasty. I'm not a fan of Beyond Meat but my wife really enjoyed and was impressed with how meaty it tastes. Her only critique was that it could have been cooked more crispy.
For sides, we got the chili cheese fries and stewed kale. The fries were so spot on. Couldn't believe I wasn't eating plant based.
Best vegan burger spot in NYC in my opinion.

The experience was quick and easy. Its located inside the whole foods on flatbush. The food came out very fast and it was to go. I had the sausage bacon burger and added the sautéed mushroom. Very tasty and filling burger. I will be back! Next time I want to try the shakes and fries.

Loved this place in both Portland and Bend. Now I get to enjoy it on the East Coast. Brings back awesome memories of west coast adventures. The service is wonderful, the space is nice and in easy access to Whole Foods 365 and Juice Press, another vegan NYC staple. Had the Brooklyn Burger which is unique to their east coast location, it was delicious and satiating. There are infinitely many options from amazing shakes to loaded fries to many burgers. They also have a long line of craft beer, cider, and kombucha. Just steps away from Atlantic Center, a transportation hub in Brooklyn and a stones throw from the Barclays Center. Come one! Come all!

I had heard about the chain a while back and had the chance to pop in for dinner after a Jiu Jitsu class. I took 2 non vegan friends and promised them that they would love it... They did. One of them was completely skeptical but went along.

The best burger and shake I've ever had. I got the Signature Burger and the regular chocolate shake. I can't recommend them enough. About time somebody put Chao cheese on their burger instead of Daiya!
