Simple Sri Lankan food (on the spicy side)

Some family members prefer South Indian food and we were close by so decided to pick up some food. The inside is quite roomy and was clean. The staff was helpful to figure out what dishes were vegan friendly and vegetarian. There are lots meat seafood options as well.

Vegan Spinach Vadas were good. Full of spinach and some chillies in the fried dough. Vegan Onion Pakoras were not crispy at all. Disappointed. Veggie Vegan Patties were good, a bit spicy as they should be. Vegan Bondas with a touch of sugar was OK. Too dense for me.

Masala Dosa Vegan, was good. The filling (masala) too little onions and only potatoes. The sambhar and chutneys were very good. The Vegan Kottu Roti was good, could have used a little more gravy. For $9 this is a meal by itself.

The Veggie Thaali which was completely vegan friendly was a huge meal. Rice and 6 different types of curries. For $8 this is perhaps the cheapest meal you could find in The Six. Some curries were OK and some very good.

One of the most budget friendly takeaway place. If you love Sri Lankan or South Indian food you are in luck.

Pros: The staff very helpful to figure out which were ve, Overall the prices are very reasonable , Thaali is good value

Cons: Curries if red are spicy. Go for yellow or green
