Great place in the California side of Tahoe basin. - Edit
This is a natural food grocery store with a prepared foods section that offers soups, salads, sandwiches, and drinks. Hot food is not offered after 4 pm. I got a veggie sandwich with plenty of greens lettuce and avocado, for $8.50. I liked it. For carnivores, they do offer meat items, too
Pros: easy parking, on main road CA 89, Eat there or to go

Very nice, if somewhat small, natural store in Tahoe. I had a falafel sandwich that totally rocked.

wish this place was in my town...wow, the store has everything, and the deli counter is top notch, with chefs who truly seem to care about taste and quality. the vegan sushi was amazing, as was their raw brownie and homemade kombucha. friendly service.
Pros: quality, selection, staff attentiveness
