Interesting place

This is such an odd store. There's a salon entrance on one side of the store, a chicken restaurant in the back, and a holistic center on the other side of the store. They have lots of different kinds of supplements but do not go here if you are looking to buy foods as selection is scarce in that department. There isn't really any fresh fruits/veg (saw a basket of local apples in there but they were far from fresh) and there's maybe half an aisle of prepackaged food. Herbs, vitamins, supplements, and spices, there is a huge variety. I went here mostly out of curiosity from what the previous reviewer said their experience was like. Staff here aren't very friendly, don't say hello when you walk in, and you practically have to beg for help.

It pains me to write a negative review about one of the few places to get healthy foods in the deep-fried South, but I must do it.
I first visited New Life several years ago and it made a bad first impression so I never went back. But since then, I'd been hearing good things and wanted to give it another shot to see how things have changed.
I visited again with the intention of getting some juice. About 4 or 5 employees were working, but they were too busy chatting with each other to greet me or ask what I'd like. Finally, I got a menu and tried to order kiwi juice. I was told they don't have kiwi (ever. Apparently the menu is old). I tried to order a different juice. They didn't have that either. All they had was vegetables, no fruits. It seems like that's the sort of thing you should let a customer know to begin with.
I left with an empty stomach. Very disappointed. I'd like to see businesses like this survive, so hopefully someone is reading this review and willing to make changes.
