Cozy Vegetarian Restaurant - Edit
We had a really nice dinner at this cozy outdoor restaurant. The chef was super relaxed and friendly and after we ordered he went out to buy some fresh ingredients for our meals. We had read online that there can be a long wait for food so we were prepared for this and the chef also gave us a pack of uno cards to play with while we waited! However, it took a pretty standard Ghanian restaurant time in my opinion (about 30 minutes). When I asked what menu items could be made vegan he said they all are, and I said what about the ones that say 'cream'? I think he thought vegan meant vegetarian because I asked if the cream was dairy and he said "no, its milk". I said what kind of milk? and he replied "cow." Eventually I was able to find out what I could get that had no cows milk and no eggs. I got the 'onion bagee' and he adjusted it so it didnt contain egg. It was really tasty and a good sized portion too. I would come back here for the chill vibes and nice food, but it would be good if there were a few more set vegan options and also if the chef had a better understanding of the difference between vegan and vegetarian.
