Simply the best local store dedicated to organic foods

It’s called Wild Roots now.

Pros: Nearly 100% organic, Great selection of natural foods , Big selection of supplements and bulk herbs

Great Veggie Grocer

New Leaf has always been one of my favorite grocery stores in Santa Cruz. It's centrally located on Pacific Ave and has a wide variety of veggie foods. The staff are always friendly and able to help if you have any questions about a product. There is a deli here that has great veggie burgers and sandwiches with a delicious tofu spread (highly recommend!). I usually get the fake bacon sandwich on wheat with tofu spread... mmm! They also have amazing vegan taquitos, rice pilaf, fakin' bacon, pizzas, non-dairy cream cheese, soy sour cream, and an assortment of vegan pastries, muffins, and sweet treats. The vegan "Cowboy" cookies are also delicious.

Best store in town!

I've been going to New Leaf in Felton for 20+ years and will continue to for years to come.

I love the deli, so many vegan options and the sandwiches are always delicious. It can be expensive but there are still good deals to be found.

High-quality food and excellent service close to home, I couldn't ask for more.

The local market and smoothie shop

In town for just a day looking for something natural fresh. This is the place. Organic stuff everywhere. I craved a smoothie which they were a little limited on though VERY accommodating. Great smooties, beautiful organic fruits and veggies and everything I could ask for.

nice deli

I love stopping here when passing through--they always seem to have a delicious vegan lasagna at the deli, along with some other vegan goodies.

I give them four cows instead of five because they sell meat.
