The waiters we had were so nice. The vegan menu is great I’m so glad they had so many vegan naans as they can be hard to come by. The sag aloo was delicious and we also really enjoyed the vegan chicken masala and samosas. Great vegan options

Separate vegan menu. Once I ordered vegan Malai Kofta and vegan lassie mango, the chef inferred proactively that the garlic naan should be vegan too.

I love the chickpea curry and the Veg Kofti. The Vegan peshwari naan is really good. They are really careful to check for allergies and cater well for Vegans. The Vegan mango lassie is so good. The staff are super nice, all from Nepal.

Authentic Indian food with good vegan menu - Edit
We ate here on the night we arrived in Lissabon and this restaurant had great reviews and was near our stay. I do not have a lot experience with Indian cuisine but this was so good, so sad there aren’t a lot Indian restaurant with vegan menu. We ate vegan chicken masala and the curry, fried rice and we had the ‘cheese bread’… tasted really good. So good we wanted to go back the next day, but choose to try another place. But when you visit Lissabon, go here!

Trata-se de um restaurante nepales, muito perto da avenida da liberdade, que oferece pratos tradicionais e opções vegan. Pedimos o menu de almoço, que tem um valor de 7,50€ e inclui uma chamuça (neste caso, de vegetais), um prato à escolha de uma pequena lista, arroz basmati e pão naan com alho. De oferta, disponibilizaram paparis com vários molhos saborosos (apenas provámos os 2 vermelhos, na foto, o outro não é vegan). Pedimos, adicionalmente, uma sopa e foi a melhor decisão que tomámos. Acabada de cozinhar, de lentilhas, gengibre, tomate e especiarias, estava deliciosa! Só pela sopa, a visita já valeu a pena. As chamuças estavam boas, crocantes por fora e com muito recheio por dentro, bem servidas. Os pratos principais estavam básicos: a diferença entre eles era apenas o molho (um de tomate e outro de leite de cocô) e ambos tinham poucos legumes e os legumes que tinham (bróculos, couve flor e ervilhas) não pareciam frescos mas sim congelados... O pão naan também não nos conquistou: a massa não era fofa e o alho não deixou a sua marca. O atendimento foi simpático e a comunicação é claramente mais fácil em inglês, mas não foi nenhum entrave ao serviço nem aos pedidos que fizemos.

We really enjoyed our evening at New Himalaia. I came in with a group, we ordered four or five dishes from the vegan menu and three different naans. The dishes are served with as much rice as you want and on the way out we were given a little glass of vegan mango lassie. Everything was delicious, the staff were very friendly and kind and let us stay and chat for quite a while. There's a separate vegan page and vegetarian page in the menu which was lovely.

In our way to hot clube de Portugal and really hungry. Found this and incredible service, offered me a takeaway box for my leftovers and said he’d put some rice and bread with it too. The food was delicious and great value.

Separate vegan menu with options including mango lassi, naan with vegan cheese, vegetable pakora, vegan chicken korma, tofu curry and others. Plenty of choices and amazing food! Staff is super friendly and accommodating they were really happy to hear that were vegan.

Vegan Cheese Naan To die for! - Edit
This deserves 5 stars! The waiter are super friendly and helpful and also help you to make any alterations to your meal if you wish. There is an extra vegan menu which basically covers all the delicious indian dishes! The vegan cheese naan is soo incredible, like literally addicting!! The curry was also really tasty and well seasoned:)
