Serves meat, vegan options available. Dog-friendly independent cafe. Has various milk replacements and vegan dishes on the menu, for instance a "SLT" vegan sausage lettuce and tomato sandwich, vegan sausages rolls and avocado on toast. Menu is fairly small generally and changes but always has some vegan options. Also serves vegan burgers, local vegan beer on tap, plus G&T and wines on Friday nights. Open Tue-Fri 08:30-15:30, Fri 18:00-21:30, Sat 09:00-16:00, Sun 10:00-15:00. Closed Mon.

Nice lunch! - Edit
Stopped on our way from London to Newcastle and were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to find this place. Free parking in the area, too. Several vegan choices for breakfast and brunch, some vegan cakes, and delicious coffee.

Independent and super busy, over half the staff are apparently vegan. This explains the quality of vegan options available. The staff are also all really friendly.
I may take up “branching” as a hobby, just to go a little more often!
