After many years of running it as a fully vegan café, the change of management last year seems to have affected a change of tack, meaning that they've introduced at least one animal product to the menu (namely Mortadella), as of September 2024.

Great independent coffee shop - mostly vegan - Edit
An independent coffee shop. Seems to be popular with locals. Reading the reviews, it seems like it used to be completely vegan before. It no longer is but most of the options are vegan. 7 out of the 8 sweets were vegan and they seemed innovative. (Banana bread toasted with espresso butter…). Friendly staff. Fast service.

Unreliable opening hours - Edit
Marked as open on Google maps… they were closed. I just hate it when a location simply doesn’t take 2 seconds to update their opening hours on Google, it’s so annoying. I took a detour under the rain for this. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Not vegan anymore due to new management — they have not made it clear at all though. I believe there’s still a few vegan options but nothing to write home about now. Shame, it use to be amazing!

Visited the cafe on one of the first sun y days of the year to refuel on a walk. We had a couple of hot chocolates (with oat milk), plus shared some cakes.

Highly recommend the banana bread and espresso butter. Delicious!

Only checked out this place because of HappyCow and glad I did! Nothing really indicates just how vegan friendly it is. All the food is vegan and all the coffee can be vegan too with a variety of plant based milks. Excellent!
Read moreThe cakes are nice. The coffee is REALLY good. The seats are slightly uncomfortable, but I will definitely be coming back here when nearby. Maybe grab a cake and coffee to go and sit by the harbour?

Had a great vegan cake which was recommended to me by the super friendly waitress. Also the oat milk was freaking good and does come from a tab! All in all a perfect experience.

Amazing Vegan Spot on the Harbour - Edit
They offer some of the best vegan cakes, slices and pies. This is my go to for a slice of cake and hot drink at the Harbourside. I’ve had so many sweet treats here and they’ve all been amazing. The hot drinks are great here too; great for coffee lovers and they do decent vegan hot chocolate. I’ve had some of their savoury options before such as a sandwich and I didn’t enjoy it. They always have weird fillings which aren’t tasty. However, the prices are really good and the portions are huge! Love the banana bread and the toast though. This is a cool and trendy cafe where the staff are super friendly too. Not the best for a chilled vibe though as the music is always very loud in there.
