Serves meat, vegan options available. Red Bluff is known for its cowboy atmosphere so finding a place to eat veg is unusual. At lunch time there is one vegetarian choice; dinner menu with a few more. Note that chicken broth is used in the appetizer soup. Previously operated as New Asian Garden.

Good veg options - Edit
Nice Chinese place in the cute downtown area. I got the spicy tofu and the veg happy family, which had seitan. Both of them were pretty tasty. They had brown rice too. The waitress was friendly and the service was good.
Pros: Mock meats, Lots of veg options

New Asian - Edit
We've eaten at New Asian a couple of times while visiting in the Red Bluff area. We had the same waitress both times, and she was really friendly and helpful. When we told her we were there because they offered vegan fair, she asked if we also wanted fat-free, which we did. She was good about suggesting dishes that fit our wishes. Unless you like plain, unseasoned, soft (mushy?) tofu, we don't recommend their tofu dishes. The second time there we tried their sweet and sour tofu thinking that might make the tofu palatable, but ended up wishing we hadn't. Their other vegan options were good, and worth repeating.
