Affordable and tasty - Edit
Overall, the food taste good !!
Read moreThe cheese burger has a really rich sauce and meat like patty. Although the salad doesn't have much dressing, the fries is one of the best ones I've ever had! It's crispy with a tint of mushy texture in the inside. I guess it is dusted with paprika.
The all day breakfast and pasta are soso. But the pasta got sun dried tomato! Giving a tiny sour and sweet aftertaste :>
The sweetness of the coffee cakes pairs well with the latte! If you really like western cake, then the cake tastes perfect. But it would be a bit too sweet for Asian ones lol

It's now called The Corner Café - Edit
A modern, spacious ground floor café with lots of natural light. I visited on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered loaded chips, a mug of tea and an "Oreo" cake. It came to £12.50, which I felt was excellent value. The chilli and cheese topping on the chips was really tasty, and I'd definitely go back and have that again. A range of milks offered - none from teats.
Read moreDuring my visit, an Indian woman tentatively ordered a curry. She called the chef over to compliment him on the quality of the cooking, praising how he had obviously toasted the spices to bring the flavour out. There can be no better recommendation.
Pros: Fresh, healthy, ethical food, These people understand flavour, Great quality for the price
Cons: Closed evenings and Mondays

New Art Exchange - Edit
The cafe is located within the New Art Exchange building on the ground floor. The building hosts contemporary art exhibitions, film screenings, community events etc and is set over several floors. No steps to access the building and there are lifts to other floors. The cafe was really busy when I popped in for lunch, lots of people remote working and meeting up. It’s a lovely community space and seems very popular, but it was incredibly noisy and definitely not somewhere I’d come if I was looking for peace and quiet! They had a varied menu, would’ve maybe have liked to see some sandwich/wrap options, but I opted for the soup. They’d run out of the advertised soup but I was offered a carrot and coriander soup instead and it was nice. There is some free on street parking outside which has a two hour limit during the day.
