We had the seitan jackfruit burger and it was so delicious! The staff was super friendly and thoughtful towards our two year old. They have a box full of toys and the terrace is fenced so great place to come with children too!

Vandaag voor mijn verjaardag van Amsterdam naar Almere gereden om te lunchen bij Neighbours Kitchen. Wat bleek een hele goede keuze als ben kritische fijnproever. Bij dit gezellige tentje wordt je in de watten gelegd met een geweldige service en verrukkelijk smakend soul food. Vegan of geen vegan, hier moet je als foodie gegeten hebben. Dank voor alles. The place was small, but there was a great atmosphere and it looked really nice. The food was great, I was there with two non-vegetarians and they didn't even notice that everything was vegan.

Best vegan food in Almere - Edit
We love going here for breakfast/lunch or brunch. The food is amazing and very tasteful and has a caribbean feel to it in taste and ambiance. The menu changes every month or so and every time we are their we order everything from the menu 😋.

My husband and I had lunch here- he is not vegan but completely cleaned his plate- the flavours are amazing and there is so much choice. Really loved the vibe/atmosphere. It is outside of the city (but in the middle of Nobelhorst) but worth the visit.

Very neat and cozy restaurant! The founders are very nice people and happy to help you through the menu with interesting and very delicious variations of vegan food. We sat outside on the terasse which is decorated with outstanding caution for small details. You can chose between several different seating options, from a lounge-like sofa corner to nicely decorated benches with colourful cushions.

At the end of our stay we even got some recommendations for interesting spots to see nearby, such as an ecologic village project consisting of autosufficient tiny houses.
This place is definetely worth a try! Highly recommended! :)

A hidden treasure - Edit
This hidden treasure is a reason to take a detour even if you have no other reason to go to Almere in the first place. The menu is entirely plant based, the staff is exceptionally friendly and the food is perfect. The menu changes regularly, so even when you’re a frequent visitor you’ll be surprised with new dishes. When the sun is shining, staying on the terrace is just perfect and in the winter the cosy atmosphere inside is just as nice. Who could wish for more :-)

Our favourite in Almere - Edit
As the title says-our favourite Cafe in Almere. The food is special and creative. The lady that runs it does so with all her heart. You can feel and taste that. Its not so easy to get to but well worth the travel!
