From the moment we stepped in, we were in for a culinary disaster.

If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience for all the wrong reasons, Lisbon Cafe is your place. From the moment we stepped in, we were in for a culinary disaster.

First, the Paella. It looked like something you'd feed to pigs, not people. It was an oily, unappetizing mess that left us questioning if it had been made with any care or skill.

The Caesar salad was another disappointment. It was half-dressed and tasted bland, as if the chef had forgotten one of the main components of the dish.

The clams with white wine sauce were horrendously salty, making them inedible. We were left thirsty and dissatisfied, struggling to understand how such a simple dish could be so badly executed.

The bread was dry and tasted stale, and to top it all off, the plates were chipped around the edges, giving an impression of poor hygiene and carelessness. The utensils were deformed, adding to the overall feeling of neglect and lack of attention to detail.

As if the terrible food and presentation weren't enough, the owner was unbelievably rude. When we addressed our disappointment, he seemed completely indifferent, not caring at all about our complaints or our dining experience.

In summary, Lisbon Cafe was a complete disaster from start to finish. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs. You'd be better off staying home and cooking for yourself.

Dishonest menu - some items on the menu listed as veg that aren’t

The place is cozy and they have some nice options, like the veggie and vegan burritos. They also have various milk options and the hot chocolate is really good. But the reason I’m writing this review today is because the cafe is misinformed about what “vegetarian” means — they have two items on the menu listed as “V” that have kimchi as an ingredient, while kimchi can be veg, the particular one they use has fish oil in it. It’s so bizarre to me that some non-veg people seem to think fish is a vegetable and/or that it’s a vegetarian option. Anyway, be warned, even though it’s listed as such, the kimchi is NOT veg. And of course that makes me wonder what else cannot be trusted on their menu.

Fab brunch

We went here for the coffee and breakfast burritos and were glad we had. The coffee was good, as was the açai smoothie and the vegan breakfast burrito was amazing-and huge! Two burritos, two coffees and a smoothie plus service was a around €35. Cool vibes, good music and great service-highly recommend.

Great spot for a breakfast

Friendly staff. Good people watching. Great coffee - a flat white done very well with oat milk (although OM is extra). Some vegan options which looked really nice but we only had the vegan cake which was delicious!
