One of the best vegan restaurants in Valencia - Edit

I have lived in Valencia for a number of years and find myself returning to this place time and again. For me it's one of the best vegan restaurants in Valencia.

If you go for lunch the menu del dia is a great option. However, even when ordering a few dishes off the menu (especially if sharing with friends) it is always a very affordable and good quality meal.

I love all things on the menu but I always have the croquetas, which are some of the best I've ever tasted.

I highly recommend this place for its relaxed setting, friendly atmosphere and good value food.

Pros: Great vegan food

Cons: Can get busy & a little cramped at certain times

Cons: No abre muchos días

Average food - Edit

I took the vegan burger for 6 euro. It was included some type of snack for it, but it wasnt extremely little. The burger was more like a sandwich with a vegetable burger inside. It wasnt bad, but not really a burger either. I was still hungry afterwards.

Pros: Friendly and english speaking staff, Good beer, Not expensive

Cons: Not much food on plate

some good and some bad food - Edit

I have rather mixed feelings after my visit at this place: the staff is friendly, making an effort to translate the menu, while the atmosphere is a little too busy, "hectic" for my taste. The door always makes noises when opened and closed and therefore you are permanently interrupted in relaxing by this sound. I had some food which was nice, but nothing to remember. In general, the food was rather simple and too much salt used. I didn't like to come back to this place after my first visit.

Pros: the kind of people this restaurant attracts, stuff making an effort to translate the menu

Cons: food nothing to remember, didn't feel really comfortable at this place

Lunch and dinner in the same day. It's THAT good - Edit

This place was our favourite in Valencia, and we ate at a different vegan place everyday, so that is saying something. We went in for lunch and loved it so much we booked in again for the same evening.

Lunch - very chilled, although still very popular so most tables were taken. The waiter/owner explained the menu to us in English and even recommended a few things. We had 4 tapas which is just right for two. We had this kind of thinly sliced raw courgette that had been pickled in oil and vinegar and served with fresh herbs. Really fresh and soooo tasty. We also had this ahmahazing quinoa thing with sauce - so fragrant and tasty. we also had smoked aubergine on a kind of pizza - again delicious. We also had pieces of seitan in a kind of thai tomato coconut curry - unsurprisingly...YUM. We finished off with a kind of rasberry 'cheese' cake - I think made with coconut cream, and coffee. Honestly, so so good from start to finish. Plus we could see the chef bopping along to music in the kitchen, so I think that must have been the secret to just how delicious it was

Dinner - SO it was that good we booked in for dinner same day. Bit busier and louder than during the day, but great atmosphere and the staff were really attentive. This time we had a seitan sandwich, courgette carpaccio with seeds and a delicious tomatoey sauce, pad thai and mushroom croquettes, followed by the chocolate banana cake and the cherry and date cake. Everything was perfect, really cant' recommend this place enough. plus it's all completely vegan! I think part of the reason we loved this place so much was that of all the vegan places in Valencia (of which there are many) this place really had a proper spanishy feel. It's a bit further out from the main town bit, but honestly you just have to go here - we almost didnt - it is fab.

Pros: Everything is vegan, Everything is delicious, The staff are great

Cons: It's not in the UK, They don't deliver to the UK

Tasty Tapas, Great Pizza, lovely Staff. get desert! - Edit

A legit Pizza for 6€, Tapas for 2,5 to 5€... I don't understand how that's overpriced.

Through 3 dinner within a week i had almost everything on the menue. Only thing that was not that tasty were the beans. But i feel thats just how beans are served in spain: bit under cooked, in my book.

Sandwiches come a little bit dry.
Get Patatas with home made lemon-mayo, fresh juice, desert!

Pros: nice staff, great food

Cons: Reggae music all day, strange opening hours (check!)

Awful bland food - Edit

I've just been to this restaurant with my friend and tasted the worst vegan food ever. Bland bland bland. The main course was burnt and the dessert was truly like slop. The menu al dia was 9.50€ and absolutely overpriced. The wine was also undrinkable.

Pros: nice waiter

Cons: terrible food, tasteless and sloppy, overpriced

Perfect lunch, big portions and friendly staff - Edit

We went here today and had an amazing lunch. We chose the daily menu for 9.50 Euros and were absolutely satisfied. The portion sizes were big and the food still very very delicious. I asked for some more nutritional yeast and the chef gave me immediately a small bowl to sprinkle it on the second course. It's good value for money!

Pros: delicious food, big portion sizes, friendly staff

Tasty Tapas - Edit

This place is quite close to the beach and has a nice laidback atmosphere. The menu is in Spanish, but the staff can help to translate. We had an amazing smoky aubergine pate served on a kind of crispy pizza base - it's one of the best things I've ever eaten! We also had some croquettes, which were sadly lacking in flavour. Next we had a kind of vegetable cake, which was flavoursome and good, and a sweet potato crepe, which was a little too sweet. Still, I would really recommend this place. Service was great, and it's a nice place to hang around.

Pros: Amazing smoky aubergine tapas, Friendly service

Very nice atmosphere, beautifully decorated. Felt at home at once. The people are nice and the food is surprisingly cheap. You get a very full plate for only €5. I had a seitan burger and it was delicious. 5 stars from me!
