Bit hidden, nice food - Edit
I guess I was lucky to find the place as the doors were not open. If I understood it correctly, it re-opened and now has a spa at the side. Nice vegan burger with Mexican touch and friendly staff

Not open anymore - Edit
I just went here today for lunch and it is now a Tour Operator.
Read moreI was told the place is closed down and they have not moved to a new location.
I’m pretty bummed as it seemed like a great place.
If it re-opens I’d love to know.

No idea about hours? - Edit
Heads up, tried to go here, it was open but not serving food or drink so not open? The owner has another non restaurant business running out of here as well I believe. The hours on here and on google are wrong or they don’t have set hours. Someone let me know if they ever update hours and I’ll take this down.

Okay, just burgers and pricey - Edit
We hat the Falafel (morrokesh) burgers . They were okay, but not like yummmmyyy. And 140 pesos. Smoothies okay too, nothing special. I do not understand why they come in a plastic cup! I think this place is overpriced for Merida. I didn’t try the vegan brownie because it’s 100 pesos! I’d rather eat really really good brownies for that money somewhere else!

Frozen - Edit
I read the comments of other customers before coming here but as it was the only vegan option close by we went anyway. I can confirm that:
Read more- everything is frozen. I saw the cook pull out the steak from the freezer.
- the steak had no taste, and I'm still looking for the chorizo favor.
- the steak was way too soft. I had to ask for a fork as 1/3 as it felt in my plate.
I think any none vegan restaurant should be able to give you a better meal that this one.
Cons: expensive for the food quality, poor quality , frozen ingredient

Over priced smoothie - Edit
I ordered a smoothie with ginger and pineapple. It was pretty bland and had chunks of ice. The price for us a was a bit much, $75 pesos, considering the size and taste.

Ok but quite expensive - Edit
I had the habanero burger (really liked it although the consistency of the patty Was a bit too smooshy) and the next day the cheese Pizza which I sadly cannot recommend at all. The juices are quite tasty.

Ok. - Edit
Two of us ordered the habanero burger because none of the others were available. It took a while to come out because there was only one staff member taking orders and making all food and drinks. The wait didn’t bother us though. The burgers were just missing something - they weren’t flavorful and delicious like a burger should be. The habanero flavor in the lentil pattie was great! But the whole burger was dry and lacked seasoning. It also came with about 6 little fried banana slices, which we thought was a bit stingy. We wanted to get dessert but we thought it probably wouldn’t be that great either. Unfortunately we wouldn’t go back, but it could have just been a bad pick that night.

Not my favorite - Edit
My wife had the cheese pizza and that was excellent. We had the chocolate brownie and that was really good. My friend had the lentil burger and she thought it was good. I had the chorizo tacos with potatoes and they were alful. The potatoes were not cooked (so crunchy) and could barely taste the chorizo but whatever good taste there was, was overpowered by the nasty raw potatoes , I would order the potatoes queso pizza next time. I imagine the tacos would have been good had they just cooked them.

Lack of staff - Edit
I tried to eat at this place but the cook who is also the server was very rude. He didn’t even gave us the menu. We waited 20 minutes until he came and asked what we wanted ... but as I said, we didn’t even had the menu. The prices were considerably high according to the place and the quality of the ingredients. (It is an open kitchen... it wasn’t very clean)

So good - Edit
This place is nice and good for vegan. The whole menu is vegan 🌱 The only that sucks is that they’re not always open when they say they’re open. We were there one day and then they were closed for the next 2 days... so called ahead

bad service - Edit
First off most of the places listed on here the times are incorrect. Went at around 2pm and the one staff working there didn't seem impressed to have more customers. Went back at 340pm cause couldn't find anything to eat and he said he only had smoothies. I asked what about food and he said he was closing at 5pm... so guess 1.20 before closing he stops making food. Won't even bother to waste my money if this is how they act

Good not great - Edit
Came to eat here despite the bad reviews because nowhere else was open on a Sunday and we were sick of vegetable fajitas and guacamole (the only vegan option in all the other restaurants). Got the Gringo, all cooked through but not amazing. In the menu it says it comes with onion rings but there was just raw onion in it and instead of vegan cheese they put some hummus in. Most of the taste came from the BBQ sauce which was really nice. The fried plantain, however, was amazing. Another downside is that they serve juices in disposable plastic cups and they offer plastic straws, not very ecological. Staff was neither friendly not hostile, just neutral. Kind of an underwhelming experience. Go if you’re gagging for a burger but be advised it won’t blow your mind.

Disappointing! - Edit
We really wanted to like this restaurant! Cool decor and really appealing all-vegan menu. But our experience was quite strange. First of all, they only had one burger and apparently couldn’t make more. So one of our party of 3 ordered it. And it never came! When the rest of our food came the server/cook apologized and said he could provide it in 50 minutes. As for the rest of our order, our only filling option were the nachos (75 pesos) so we ordered 2 plates. When they came (long wait as the server/chef had nothing prepped), they were delicious, and we shared them 3-ways. Our final surprise was when he charged us double the menu price for them. When asked about it he told us that he had put them on larger plates. A lot of confusion.

Good menu, disappointing experience - Edit
This small cafe in Merida serves mostly vegan, and has a good selection of vegan burgers, healthy shakes and juices. I enjoyed a carrot, apple and ginger juice and also ordered their 'gringo burger', which was made from lentils and onion rings, amongst other things. It had great promise, unfortunately it arrived uncooked - the burger was still cold in the middle. The owner was apologetic and tried again, but the second attempt was also cold. He explained that he had a problem with his cooker, so I was forced to go elsewhere for food. A disappointing experience; I feel if he knew there was a problem he shouldn't be offering food in the first place. That being said, I'm sure if the burger had been cooked it would've been tasty.

lots of vegan options - Edit
I don't even remember seeing meat on the menu, as the vegan options were so clear and there were many. I had one of two vegan burgers and a melon/pineapple/ginger juice. It was all delicious and you could tell it was quality food. If I had had more time in Merida I would have gone there again.
