Nice to find a place that serves a good range of vegan dishes, also Sri Lankan style. Tasty food but the service was slow and disengaged, vegan Sunday brunch buffet simply was not on, with no explanation and they only take cash, and the nearest ATM is a hike away.

Amazing curry restaurant with a mixture of Indian and Sri Lankan dishes - loads of separate vegan dishes and most breads are vegan too. Think they had vegan lassis too but didn’t try - had the chickpea and lentils with tofu and the aubergine and soy cubes (mock beef) and were both so rich, which is hard to do without ghee! Just amazing

Best jackfruit dishes I ever ate - Edit
Went here several times when I was at Berlin. The food was absolutely delicious and freshly made. Had the two different jackfruit dishes as well as the eggplant starter. It was amazing, flavorful and yummy.

My husband chose off the menu, and had the saffron tofu (which was delicious), and a dahl, which didn’t turn up initially because the waiter didn’t write it down. However the waitress apologised, and it arrived pretty quickly.

I'd recommend there selfmade yogimilch or chai tea, spinach soup, potato soup, samosas, pakoras(huge portion), vegan naan and any of there vegan mains! The banana spinach curry is hands down my favourite! Can't wait to go back and try a vegan lassi :)

I went there with a group of friends and had a soup, the jackfruit curry and a vegan mango lassi. Everything was so incredibly delicious that we instantly decided to come back the next day for the vegan brunch (takes place on Sundays). The brunch buffet offered us even more choice with even more delicious food and the opportunity to eat as much as we wanted. Food heaven! Having been to India, I can confirm that the taste is absolutely authentic and my Indian friend agrees... but the food is mostly Sri Lankan/Tamil, so it does have its own unusual twist. Try it and love it!

The vegan brunch is really nice. It was basically a selection of 6 curries along with rice and a variety of fried breads/dumplings (I don't know what they are called, sorry!) and a basic salad. The food was really delicious and spicy (warning: maybe it's not for you if you don't like spicy food!).

Read moreTucked away in Wedding it's a little oasis of vegan indian food. Of course, not everything on the menu is vegan, but what is is clearly marked and there's a really large selection.
The mains are a bit pricey (especially considering the restaurant itself is not a particularly nice place to sit in). Thus, we opted to go for a serving of 2 samosas and one main with rice to share.
The samosas came very quickly, but were totally frozen on the inside! At this point I figured we'd made a bad mistake to waste 9€ on a main dish at this place. But when the main did eventually come it was some of the best and most interesting indian I've had in Berlin.
Anyone that lives here will know that good indian food is very hard to come by. Harder still when you want it vegan. So finding this place is very pleasing.
I would recommend it to anyone in the area. Still, I wish they would lower their prices a little bit. 8 - 10€ mains seems too pricey for this kind of restaurant (let's face it, it's a bit of a dive).
