Read moreLocation TOP but the food wasn’t up to my expectations. I had a beautiful night anyway, but I thought they could have put a bit more effort in their plant based options. They all tasted similar and the acidity of their “pickles” was quite the driving part of all dishes.

With a price tag to match the reputation, I was expecting something far better than what was on offer. The five course vegan menu was unimaginative and plain. Nothing special or deluxe to make it stand up to the carnists' options. The best dish of the night was a plantain curry. I can get plantains at the market every weekend, and I can make a curry of that quality with my eyes closed. The rest of the menu was more Japanese inspired, which is fine, but like rice and seaweed aren't exactly rare ingredients.

This place has such a wonderful atmosphere and food to match. It was amazing to see a vegan tasting menu! The food was flavorful and innovative. The wait staff was really knowledgeable on vegetarian and vegan options.

Read moreThere were seperate degustation menus available for both vegan and vegetarian. The vegan menu is particularly attentive and doesn’t have a wine pairing (this can also be seen as a bad thing). The wait staff were excellent and the atmosphere was dreamlike.
The best meal between both of the menus was the vegetable curry. It was criminal to leave a drop of sauce on the plate.
A surprise benefit not found on their website was that the vegetarian and vegan degustations were 15% cheaper than the meat based degustation.
