The Best - Edit
Having travelled yearly to India for the past 45 with the exception of the Covid era and naturally eating in countless places, I was delighted to stumble across the listing in Happy Cow for the Natutarian Farm. I spent a week at the farm and can say without any doubt that it was the most delicious, nutritious and beautifully presented food I have ever experienced in India. The food is vegan, gluten free and either organically grown on the farm or organically sourced. Sam and Shanu spend hours preparing the delightful meals that they offer. When I commented several times that they worked so hard making the food - their reply was simply that they enjoyed it. You can taste that care, attention and love that goes into each meal. Everything is made from scratch - wonderfully spiced Indian rice, pizza sauce and crust baked in an earthen oven that Sam built, cashew cheese, hummus, falafels, pitta bread.
Read moreI cannot sufficiently praise the wonderful food that we enjoyed at the Natutarian Farm. If Happy Cow offered 100 stars Sam and Shanu would get them all.

Hospitality Unequaled! - Edit
What a wonderful week and lasting happy memory!
Read moreSometimes you hesitate to say how great a place is, because you don't want it to become too popular! But I have to say that I've never experienced such generous hospitality as we receive from Shanu and Samayra.
Or such excellent vegan, no oil gourmet food. Really extraordinary, Indian biryani, Middle Eastern falafel, and la pièce de résistance, the hand made, mud oven cooked pizza! And more. Shanu and Samayra spent hours - literally - preparing these dishes. I didn't expect the pizza to live up to its billing, but it did, and more.
It was even more rewarding to have the benefit of our hosts' knowledge of naturopathic principles, and to learn how they are implementing regenerative farming practices. These are things that I'll be keeping with me long after this visit, while looking forward to the next.
Thank you, Shanu and Samayra!
