Needs improvement, but beautiful location

The staff need some convincing to serve you some vegan food even though they know exactly how to veganise the falafel and bulgur salad, i.e. by omitting the yogurt dip. The salad was prepared quickly, beautifully arranged and tasted really great. A beautiful spacious beer garden, the perfect spot for relaxing after hiking in the virgin forest (Urwald.)

Not a place for vegans

The Naturfreundehaus Kirschheck has no vegan options on the menu. I you ask, the staff makes claer, that they are not interested in offering vegan food. Futher more a potato without everything is not really what I like to eat at a restaurant. After some diskussions I got a vegan version of the salade with bulgur and falafel. The salad was tasty, but all in all, i would'n come to this place as a vegan, it is not a HappyCow entry.

Pros: tasty

Cons: staff, no real vegan options
