It Felt Like I Had Found Vegan Home

When we walked inside, there was just an abundance of staple and specialty vegan items. Fresh baked breads along the wall and tons of variety in products. The campgroynds and lake surrounding were so beautiful as well.

Amazing Hidden Gem

One of our absolute FAVORITE places! We live in rural Michigan so we have slim pickins for healthy vegan options. This place is a total blessing!! We try to visit once a week to stock up on our bulk foods and to visit with the staff, which has become like a family. They are located inside Camp Ausable.

Hidden Gem in Northern Michigan!

Natures Nest is located in Camp Au Sable and open to the public. Note this is part of a Seventh Day Adventist Camp so it will be closed on Saturdays (Sundays by appt only). So go there Mon thru Fri. Amazing little all vegan food store (dry goods , bakery, ice cream and cold case foods) with some take away food such as tamales, burritos curries lasagna on certain days. Theres a great variety of rustic, multigrain and sourdough breads, incredible carob chips cookies, superb spiced applesauce cakes and soft serve vegan ice cream. Must try Chef Miguel’s savory Lime Sauce in the cold case and his Tamales!
